Guest Benchman Report post Posted September 22, 2002 So my band have a song entitled 'Ode To Booker' on our demo CD. I was thinking of sending it to WWE or Booker T himself, purely for my own amusement, but I couldnt find any address to post it to. Any ideas? Then again, if you think we're likely to get sued for making a song about a WWE 'copyright', then maybe I shouldnt bother. Any help is appreciated. Guest BAR Report post Posted September 22, 2002 I ain't got no advice, but could we hear the song, or even post the lyrics?
Guest gangsteruwa Report post Posted September 22, 2002 I went to your site (nice site by the way) and I read the lyrics. It seems Wesley Willis-like. If anyone reads those lyrics that knows who Wesley Willis is, you will get it. If not look him up in a search engine or download one of his songs. The guy is a genious. I don't think they would sue you. They probably get stuff like that everyday.
Guest Benchman Report post Posted September 22, 2002 Thanks for the kind words about the site. I've put the song up so you can check it out: Ode To Booker Dont expect anything better than two idiots with no talent or equipment making noise.
Guest Marshall Report post Posted September 22, 2002 That was pretty fun. It was like a Sandler type of song. You could email it to Lance Storm or Jerry Lawler...I don't know why, but you could.
Guest DJ Jeff Report post Posted September 22, 2002 Find WWE's e-mail address and e-mail it to them. Either that, or mail a demo tape of the song. That would be pretty sweet if your song was used as Booker T's entrance theme.
