Well, now I can see where bps is coming from, and I apologize for being so uppity about it earlier. Taker can't fucking put over the Undisputed Champ? Even the people who say Brock isn't deserving of the belt and the push can't be happy about this one. If Taker wants to turn Brockberg into Brockus REALLY fast, this is the way to go. The way to go would've been to have Brock absolutely squash Taker, with NO offense from the challenger, pin him clean with like 3 F-5s, and maybe beat up Sara too or something, while Heyman cackled with glee. That's putting over your champion. Just having him in the same ring as Undertaker ain't gonna cut it anymore.

I wouldn't say total squash, but definitely a clean f'n win. Maybe even by K.O. or submission. THAT would make Brock look like a badass.

 

I don't like Brock, but sticking the title on him and having him flounder in the SD midcard after getting cut off at the knees by HHH and Taker on Raw, Taker being built up, and on the PPV getting a BS no contest and then having Taker kick Brock's ass isn't helping anyone but Taker and HHH.

 

Screeeeeeew yooooou, Taker. And HHH...well, everyone knows what I think of him.

 

Although it could be worse...Taker could have beat him. Yeech.

I totally understand what the fed is trying to do with Brock vs. Taker, and that is stretch out the feud a little longer. I don't want to sound like a broken record, but the main event is talent starved and they have but no choice to stretch this feud out for as long as possible. I really think they could have handled this a billion times better though. Maybe do the finish of this match on free TV and then have a gimmick match at Unforgiven where Brock would win cheaply thus setting up a real 1 on 1 match at No Mercy.

 

Or they can do like they should have been doing all along and make new main eventers so they don't have to recycle Undertaker for months at a time.

But wouldn't it have been better, after the ref called for the bell, to have Taker and Brock's brawl be a little more even-handed? Brock was being made to look like a bitch at the end of the show.

I didn't see Unforgiven, but by what I read, the ending to the Lesnar vs. Undertaker match did suck. I mean, this was the main even at a PPV, and it ended in a DQ. That just sucks. Anyways, like it's been said before, there will probably be another Lesnar© vs. Undertaker match at No Mercy, where Lesnar will get a clean win hopefully.

Well, I dont think I will be joining you guys, not quite yet anyway. Yeah the ppv was decent, but HHH & UT are really killing it. HHH/RVD was a dream match of mine when I first saw RVD in action, that was the 2000 HHH VS RVD now match i wanted. Their match tonight wasn't necessarily bad but could of been beter. The finish is what i expected pretty much... lame flair turn btw. There went all RVD's in ring credibility and heat. I swear to god, I hate HHH soo much. That match had the "HHH EFFECT" all over it. I cant watch SD! anyway, not that i would probably want to. UT pissed me off as well, No selling basturd... and what the hell kinda finish was that? I felt like i was in 96, except this time the main event sucked. This bullcrap does have to stop and soon. I am hoping for a terrible buyrate and a horrible rating for RAW tonight, but then again, they would probably just blame RVD for that. What happend to the WWE? If they pull another HHH every other segment kinda show tonight, then i think my boycott will begin. This crap is not excitting, or any good anymore. I praise Beniot and Angle for their impressive display of wrestling... made me kinda remember the good days. MOTYC all the way their. But thats not enough. HLA was dumb and still is. Its really hard to say something good about the company nowadays. I am beggin Vince to show up, reclaim his shows, and end the roster split... its horrible.

Why do so many people assume RVD's heat and credibility are now gone forever after tonight? And what's this about UT being a "no selling basturd [sic]"? I didn't see the match, but from what I've read, other than the shitty, inexcusable ending, UT sold his ass off for Brock.

I give HHH credit for a few things in this feud:

 

1. He let RVD mock him to the delight of marks and smarks delight.

 

2. HHH had to cheat to win...thus differing from how he tells Jericho he can't beat him...then proving it.

 

He may not have lost...but he made his opponent look good doing it.

 

However...I don't beleive RVD will ever beat HHH again.

I have to agree, but doesn't a program with Flair feel like a MAJOR step backwards for RVD? After that it's a huge toss up whether RVD goes back to HHH or to Brock.

In fact...Just to be cruel, I think he should make Chris Benoit TAP to his Dragon Sleeper, Tombstone Kurt Angle, and for those Puro fans, go to Japan and go into Goldberg Squashing Mode, Destroying Misawa, Great Muta, and Kawada! and then come back and Win two more Wrestlemanias and the World title a couple more times and Retire...AHHHHH But not totally, but Become a WWE Head booker So his horrible matches can be mimiced in future wrestlers !

oh man that was funny ......ANYWAY, I think if Taker got saucy with Kawada, he'd have to pick up his teeth. On topic now, I can't boycott RAW. I mean, I don't like football much so I can't watch that, besides, I'm not a Nielsen family so Vince doesn't get any ratings from me. I'm also curious to see where they are going with the RVD/HHH thing. I will be highly pissed if they do make RVD feud with Flair instead of wanting a rematch. Sure, he can fight Flair tomorrow, but no drawn out feud please.

The only way I would boycott it would be if the ratings system literally had a monitor on my cable box or something. I would definately do it then, just to make a point. Thats the thing, none of you boycotting the shows in just hope that someone will take note won't work unless you are a part of the ratings system. Now if you just boycott because you're not interested in watching the show anymore, thats another thing.

 

I won't be watching it live though, since I work, but thats nothing new anyway. I'll check out the tape when I get home.

If I had the means to watch Raw, I would, as I really thought that Unforgiven was a very good show. RVD, even though losing, comes out looking stronger than he did going in, and, while, I would rather him be champ than HHH (for personal reasons), HHH is probably the best choice to hold the meaningless title.

 

Top to bottom, I can not find a bad match on that show, with only the ending of the main event, and the retarded HLA stuff tainting the show in my mind.

I wasn't really watching much Smackdown since around May I think, but I officially stopped watching it when Stephanie McMahon came back. I stopped watching RAW some where before Summerslam and hadn't wathced it at all until last Monday. Before she was "banned" from tv, I would change the channel whenever Stephanie McMahon was on tv. These days I just don't even bother watching because I know she's going ot be on and feautred prominently. Someone needs to get it through her head that being a booker is not like having a damn toy. You don't say, I'm bored why don't I put myself on tv this week? Who the hell didn't think Bischoff would get a stinkface? WHo honestly thought Stpehanie McMahon wouldn't find a way to put herself over by outsmarting someone? You'll soon learn how things work and will stop watching too.

 

Undertaker. What a fucking joke. If the Rock can fucking pit over Lesnar, why can't Undertaker? You can take the Decade of Destruction and any other gimmicked reason for Undertaker being a top dog and wipe your ass with it. The Rock's a bigger star than the Undertaker. I don't care about how long the Undertaker has ben around or paying dues, the Rock is a bigger star. Undertaker is in no way, shape or form entertaining. He was another catalyst for me turning the channel. Whenever he came on the tv and cut his promos, I would turn the show off. I never got to see Hogan have trouble with the motorcycle because I didn't let it get that far.

 

Lesnar was screwed the minute he started selling for the Hardys. If Undertaker can squash them, why can't Lesnar? Who should be ale to kick someone's ass more effectively, a pot bellied old man or a 300 pound NCAA champion wrestler? Undertaker can be a locker room leader all he wants, but that's a title that's as prestigious as being the captain of the Titanic. Hold your spot on the sinking ship Undertaker, and see who gives a shit about you when it sinks.

Fuck boycotting Raw. Wrestling is one of the only reasons I have cable. I don't care if Teri and Spike Dudley have a half hour shit eating contest, as long as there is some decent wrestling, it's all good with me.

But I understand how some people who were losing interest might say f*ck it after yesterday. Im not sure which of you said it, but I agree completely that the Taker finish would not have pissed me off had Brock came out the stronger looking. Taker looking stronger was SO bad. This was after a decent match too. The first few minutes caused me intense pain, but it got good after that.

 

And then the ending came and I sat and stared in disbelief......

 

Two more things....

The HLA was retarded. I thought it was dumb from the beginning, but to do the match, then have Steph weasel out of it was the worst thing I could think of. Jeez, have her kiss the girl, be embarassed, have Bischoff laugh and move on. No, miss smackdown needs her heat back cause god forbid she looks bad for more than 15 minutes.

 

And Flair better be managing HHH. If he's fighting RVD in the next PPV, im not ordering it. They could have Benoit vs. Angle 8 times to round out the next show and I will not order it if Flair is fighting RVD.

First time i miss RAW in so many years and the ECW Invasion happens.....so yeah I just know if I didn't watch tonight RVD would win the title in a rematch after HHH tore his quad.
