Guest The Czech Republic Report post Posted September 23, 2002 Is it moral and ethical to have more than one partner in life? We have all been taught that it's wrong to do so. However, I believe that if you're a guy with enough love in your heart and libido in your body that you want to have two wives at once, no law should stop you. Raising children with three parents in the household would help them gain three separate influences. What do you guys think? I think the problem is that even as I write, I think a woman with two husbands at once is really slutty, where as I don't care about a guy with two wives, because hey, HLA. Guest cobainwasmurdered Report post Posted September 23, 2002 Well. The problem with alot of those relationships is that the women are normally married to the men at a VERY young age. If it wasn't like that then I don't have a HUGE problem with it. I wouldn't be interested in having two wifes (Imagine all the nagging!)
Guest papacita Report post Posted September 23, 2002 You know...had someone asked me my opinions on a man having more than one wife, I would say it's fine as long as he's able to support both women...but now that you mention it, I honestly can't say I'd feel the same way about a woman having two husbands. I know it's a double standard, but for some reason it seems wrong to me. I hope that doesn't make me sound sexist or anything.
