Guest Youth N Asia Posted February 27, 2002 Report Posted February 27, 2002 I think it's kind of ironic that the APA use to use their initials to come up with the phrase "Always Pounding Ass"...and their match at Mania is against two men who are under ass-pounding suspicion...hmmm I think Billy and Chuck could actually be cool if they stuck to what they did on RAW...over gay most of the time...but ultraviolence when fighting and jumping people...I think a violent homosexual tag team could be fun to watch
Guest dreamer420 Posted February 27, 2002 Report Posted February 27, 2002 What is the feud between these two? The APA wants to beat up Billy and Chuck because they might be gay. Whoever thought up this feud should be stripped of their booking duties.
Guest Mystery Eskimo Posted February 27, 2002 Report Posted February 27, 2002 Yeah, it's awful. In fact, Billy n Chucky's gimmick is awful. I mean, it's the 21st century.
Guest art_vandelay Posted February 27, 2002 Report Posted February 27, 2002 Well, I for one, love the gay gimmick. But I loved Freddy Got Fingered too, so take my opinion for what you will. I think it's being booked fairly well. As the above poster said, a comedy gimmick can only last if you make the gimmick look like it can actually get some wins and hurt people in the ring. It would be funny if, over the next 2 weeks Billy and Chuck wore the "Always Poundin Ass" shirt down to the ring to taunt the APA.
Guest Risk Posted February 27, 2002 Report Posted February 27, 2002 This angle must be bad for Billy's wife and kids. They have even been on tv, he kissed his son on the head while he was in the new DX, and JR said it was his family. They've did the same thing by showing Angle's wife and making it act like he liked Steph. It makes no sense. Also, Taker tried to marry Steph then his wife shows up...WTF!? Same with DDP...Wight tried to date Trish then mentioned his wife on Excess...they aren't insulting our intelligence, they are stomping on it!
Guest Rabies Posted February 27, 2002 Report Posted February 27, 2002 The reason for the feud is b/c B&C have the straps. I think a violent, bad-ass homoerotic gimmick could be quite amusing.

APA won the #1 contendership, Billy and Chuck won the titles, and that was that. They would sometimes show APA watching Billy/Chuck backstage but I don't think APA ever punked them out just for being gay
Guest Tony149 Posted February 27, 2002 Report Posted February 27, 2002 The writers probably figured it would be funny to have a straight, beer drinking, bad ass tag team vs. a "gay" tag team.
Guest Mystery Eskimo Posted February 27, 2002 Report Posted February 27, 2002 The writers also think Booker and Test skits are funny. *Sigh*
