Guest bob_barron Report post Posted September 23, 2002 Apparently thinking people actually bought Judgement Day from Shopzone, WWE has made Vengeance a Shopzone exclusive as well. I just hope like last time, Vengeance isn't a Shopzone exclusive in Canada
Guest Jobber of the Week Report post Posted September 23, 2002 At least it's all the bad PPVs. =b

LaParkaYourCar 0 Report post Posted September 24, 2002 Damnit I liked Vengeance and was hoping to get it when it came out. I don't have a credit card to do online shopping and don't feel like waiting for shipping. Why does the WWE think this will help anything?
Guest bob_barron Report post Posted September 24, 2002 (HHH leaves the booking meeting, Y2J sneaks in) Y2J: Uhhh hi Vince. Vince: Hey Christian! Y2J: Uhhhh it's me Jericho. Vince: Oh yea- uhhh what do you want? Y2J: Remember Vengeance? Where I lost to- Vince: Flair? RVD? HHH? HHH? Rock? Bubba Tough- oh wait that's tonight. Y2J: No uhhh I lost to John Cena and like losing to him is like wicked embarassing and can you like never release it on DVD ever? Vince: Ummm you have to agree to be humiliated by HHH tonight. Jericho: Fine. Thanks Vince- jobbing to Cena is just too humiliating for words
Guest nikowwf Report post Posted September 24, 2002 Judgment Day is available in the stores. I really think that means its exclusive for a short time or something like that. I've seen Judgment Day on sale. Niko

Guest humongous2002 Report post Posted September 24, 2002 Fuck the WWE, the Judgement Day dvd cost me as much as paying for the ppv live, with all the shipping and handling, that's 60% more than what I paid for the Hulk still Rules 2 dvd at Best buy. Keep on pissing off the remaining fans Vinnie Mac, let me remind you, you wouldn't be able to beat WCW in the ratings without us, don't make us turn on you. Guest DJ Jeff Report post Posted September 24, 2002 Dammit, I hope Vengeance is released in Canada at least. I missed Vengeance, and I would like to buy the DVD to watch it.
Guest Jobber of the Week Report post Posted September 24, 2002 Venom-filled rant. Oh FOR CHRIST'S SAKES! Really! I try to sit and let everyone take every little thing and twist it into a reason the company is going downhill, and I'll admit to doing a little of that myself (see also: thread, Doomsday,) but I won't sit silent again here! The thing is they don't even HAVE to offer you a DVD. Obviously, it is in their best interest to produce these items, but they are also free to distribute them how they like. Maybe WWE DVD's simply aren't burning up the charts like they used to at your favorite stores, so they're cutting down on what they feed the retailers, to stuff like the Big Five and the docudramas. The WWE probably isn't trying to figure out how much abuse you'll take before you leave. They likely are not distributing it for one of the reasons mentioned above, or maybe another (maybe it's a bad presentation? For fun and gags, try the InVasion DVD, where trying to access some of the extras puts the Disc player in Stop.) I would much rather WWE have enough shelf space to release something like a great big WM boxset from 1 to 18 or something, than every Mickey Mouse docudrama they make on Crash Holly's home life. If you believe Vengeance has a MOTYC on it or something, then belly up and buy it at ShopZone. If not, remember they never promised you this thing in the first place. ....There, I think it's out of my system. *goes into Lurk Mode for whatever flame is made from this post*
Guest nikowwf Report post Posted September 24, 2002 Wow, everyone ignored me completely. Do a little browsing people. I really think you are complaining about an issue that doesnt exist. Niko

What about the people who don't know how to use a pc or the internet? I guess WWE just says, "fuck those people." Maybe Niko is right and it's out on WWE.com BEFORE the stores. I don't really care anyway. I have a nice DVD collection.
Guest pochorenella Report post Posted September 24, 2002 What about the Summerslam 2002 DVD? It's not even on pre-order on Amazon or anything. Usually those DVDs/VHS were on pre-order months in advance. Do you guys think it's also gonna be Shopzone exclusive or are the Big Five PPVs going to be wide released? I really want that show on DVD but if it's gonna cost like $30 or more with shipping, taxes, and all that shit maybe I should think twice.
LaParkaYourCar 0 Report post Posted September 24, 2002 By releasing a DVD of every ppv since X7 I take that as a promise that there will be a DVD every month. So yes it's stupid to not make it readily available to the public. Especially since buying it off Shopzone would make it cost way too much with shipping and handling. I'm sure you're okay with Vengeance, but if they do this with SummerSlam I bet you'll be complaining. Honestly I'm just sick of VHS copies of Wrestling ppv's. Maybe it's my VCR, or maybe I'm just spoiled on the great picture quality, but if I'm going to buy the home version of a WWE ppv it's going to be DVD.
