Guest razazteca Report post Posted September 24, 2002 how does this thing work? $5 for a pack of cards so I can play Excite Bike or Pinball with retro NES game play? How will this work with Pokemon? can this thing connect with the Gamecube to add special bonus items or levels?
Guest MarvinisaLunatic Report post Posted September 25, 2002 All I know about Gamecube compatibility is that Animal Crossing has cards that allow you to visit new levels in the game not otherwise accessible. But I dont know how you get the cards or anything else like that. But they are planning more ways for it to be used with the Gamecube in the future. I dont have a GBA, I sort of outgrew the Gameboy and when I found that the screen wasn't backlit my choice was easy.

Guest razazteca Report post Posted September 25, 2002 the back lit issue really pisses me off also, but I need my puzzle game fix on long car trips I found the extra cards sold at $5 at the Electronic Boutique but the choice is Pinball or Excite Bike, so I will wait until a killer app is made for the E-Reader as $35 for the thing is steep for cheap ass retro fix. I would rather buy one of those Flash Card Rom thingys instead of the E-Reader at this point.
