Guest HVilleThugg Report post Posted September 24, 2002 We have the SWF's biggest PPV of the year coming up, with the WF card being booked tonight by Stubby. This is our anniversary PPV, so everyone will be involved...including you JLers. Here's what's going to happen. After tomorrow night's card, SWF GENESIS COUNTDOWN will be booked and posted on the WF board. It will feature JLers, and will be a Sunday show as usual. The due time will be earlier than usual...noon eastern time, and there will be no extensions. The idea is to have Countdown up before Genesis...as a prelude to the big show. So, be sure to check the WF board for your next card after tomorrow's show. Now...this is for the JLCC people. I need markers. All you people who mark for JL matches and are active members in the WF, I need to know who of you will be available to mark on Sunday afternoon...because I want to get the show up during the evening, so...I know some of you will be finishing your matches, so I need to know who I can use to mark. Help me out here... If you have any booking requests, or you can't be booked, PM me...ASAP! This is our biggest show people, so bring your A game...it should be a blast. You all have earned it. I mean, if you aren't as mediocre as Strangler, HOW do they EXPECT you to mark!? Anyway, well, I haven't marked before, only offered up an opinion to help TNT out once, but... I guess if no-body minded, I wouldn't mind marking something. I am beingz retired and such, and I don't do anything on the weekends anyway... So, yeah. It's the JL's PPV so-to-speak. Tod, it's a PPV...so there are NO word limits. So, there's no guarantee that an opening match will be short. I can leave you off of marking if that's a problem. Guest HVilleThugg Report post Posted September 24, 2002 Hmmmmm...you may be right there Muzz... I want to give the JLers the same chance as teh WFers...PPV wise that is. However, I don't want any dumb person (coughTHORcough) writing 10000 word matches...cause that's going to be brutal on whoever marks, especially considering many of them are going to be finishing matches or have just finished writing matches for Genesis. But, yeah...that's a good poiint. Here's what we'll do. There will be no word limits on individual matches, but there will be a word limit on the show as a whole. For example, I'll say that no match can be over 5000 words (that's not the limit..just an example) and that means no one can write over 5000 words. Also, if you're the first match or whatever, that doesn't mean you have to write to the limit like many of you seem to think is true for normal shows. I'd like to see a progression...first match is shorter and progress up from there. Matches with history and the like should be more, but a normal, random match shouldn't be going all the way up to the limit. I leave that to your disgression.
