Guest Army Eye Report post Posted September 24, 2002 Bubba won't miss any time; he'll work through the injury. He's Bubba tough. I had forgotten he was Bubba tough, but JR reminded me. I won't let you guys forget it.
Guest oldschoolwrestling Report post Posted September 24, 2002 The problem with Bubba Ray Dudley's arm is that he loses feeling in it at random times. That is why his table spot with Triple H on RAW came off odd. He had the same problem last week that saw him drop Lance Storm oddly. Credit: 1wrestling.com He should stop wrestling til they fix this or he's really gonna hurt someone.

Guest nikowwf Report post Posted September 24, 2002 The WWF (f*ck the E) expects us to pay $34.95 to watch Bubba Ray fight HHH. HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA : Niko
Guest Just call me Dan Report post Posted September 25, 2002 How unfortunate for him because of his rising spot on the card, but I can only breathe a sigh of relief now that Bradshaw and Bubba are both out. Hopefully this will leave more room for the Un-Americans and some other faces to get more TV time. And before ubba becomes a viable threat to any title, he better get a serious uniform change and re - do his character a bit. Those ridiculous shorts and camoflauge altogether make him look like some backyard wrestling guy out there getting a mega-push. This is the big leagues for christ's sake. Guest buffybeast Report post Posted September 26, 2002 You guys need to cut Bubba Tough some slack. He is a very good big man, he sells well, moves decently, has pretty good mic skills, and he's cute. Why wouldn't you guys want to see more of him?

Guest Smell the ratings!!! Report post Posted September 26, 2002 Ha! Calling Buff JR amuses me. On a side note, (mainly I wanted to go HA!), I say let Bubba wrestle. I actually want to see his matches now, to check out his arm farting out in mid-move. How about Bubba goes for a superplex, and the guy ends up landing ass-first on Bubba's skull? Guest buffybeast Report post Posted September 26, 2002 Guys, the man didn't go out there in hopes of injurying Lance. Nor is he inept like Billy gunn during the infamous match against His Lord and Savior Chris Benoit. Bubba Tough was out there working hard trying to entertain us when his pinched nerve flared up. So please give the man a break.

And HHH should have been injured, though, considering that the botching was partially his fault for sandbagging.

It wasn't an intentional mistake or anything.

So please give the man a break. It's hard to give a man a break who knowingly goes out there with an injury that could be dangerous for those in the ring with him especially since it almost injured someone beforehand. Maybe the WWE wouldn't let him have the match off, but he could have lessened his moves in the ring that focused on that body part. To me it shows a lack of respect for the person he's in the ring with.

Becauth sometimeth ith juth not worth the risth Heh...of course, after the way fans reacted at Unforgiven, are you actually thinking there won't be a huge round of "Bullshit" after seeing HHH on offense for an ENTIRE match, perhaps only sporadically broken up by Bubba Ray punching and kicking him back? That is the existing culture in the WWF lockerroom and has been like that in pro wrestling for years. Men have always worked with some sort of injury for fear of losing their spot, money, push, etc. And if the company doctors and management knew about Bubba's injury, and I am sure they did, and gave him the green light to perform, how can you sit there and place the blame squarely on Bubba's shoulders? LaParkaYourCar 0 Report post Posted September 26, 2002 Yes lots do go with injuries, but how many of those injuries are ones that could very well lead to serious injury of an opponent? What makes it worse is they let him wrestle again after he almost injured Lance Storm.
Guest The Flying Dutchman Report post Posted September 26, 2002 From Lance Storm's commentary board on Stormwrestling.com... What happened on that exchange with Buh Buh in the corner? Did you jump too high to help Buh Buh? (No one sells like Storm!)You rolled right over his shoulder and were dropped right on your head! Are you ok??? It was a great show you guys put on but I must admit I was pumped to see Kane get the pin! Ps. Have you ever spoke books with Kane/Glenn Jacobs? What does he read??? I went up real light and Bubba had a problem of some kind (lost feeing in his hand) and dropped me. I am sore but not seriously injured (I was very lucky). I do tlak books with Kane. He's on a Tom Clancy kick right now. Okay then... 1) Storm went up really light. That contributed to the head droppings. 2) Buh Buh's arm suddenly lost feeling. That contributed to the head droppings. 3) WWE writers determine the post match shenanigans, not the wrestlers. Therefore the powerbomb through the table wasn't somethign Bubba just came with. Wrestlers do what they're told to. 4) I haven't seen Bubba blow two moves like those before Unforgiven, which leads me to believe the loss of feeling is a fairly recent thing, prolly just happened for the first time at Unforgiven I'm willing to bet. When you blow a spot like that once, you just write it off as a weird coincidence. Hell, I broke my finger once and went three days with out realizing it because I thought it was just sprained.
