And yeah, Edge has been facing better workers (although Christian hasn't done anything really good when against Booker or Goldust, who don't suck)

So are you actually comparing Kurt Angle and Eddy Guerrero two of the three best workers in NA to Booker T who has not been stellar in a while and Golddust.

I'm not equating them, I'm saying Booker and Goldust don't suck. And if Christian is a better worker than Edge, he should be able to get better matches out of them then he has. Christian is just a standard worker with too many chinlocks and reverse DDT variations. He's not in Edge's league at this point.

I think Christian is actually a better worker than Edge. I think if their spots were reversed, hed have better matches.

See, I'd don't see where said opinion comes from... where's the match where Christian could convince me of such?

You see Unamericans with Vince is his way or the highway, you guys don't draw anything compared to that legendary Undertaker, now he is a start that could do whatever he wants to do. You guys should learn from HHH and Taker real company men.

Not to be a bitch, but I'm guessing Taker has drawn more than Storm, Christian, and Test combined. Taker's not a great draw by most standards, but he's no Tito Santana either. Taker and HHH have also undergone numerous 'transformations' while under WWE rule, so they probably aren't the people you want to be using in this example... Hogan might be a better target.

I always thought that during the E&C team that Christian was the better worker. He was a bump machine when necessary, he had better moves, and I just preferred him. Since they split Christian has not had THE singles match that would make him through no fault of his own. His program with Edge the matches were disappointing. Christian went on to do nothing while Edge went into his eternal feud with Regal so they are still even. Neither set the world on fire at WM Edge vs. Booker and DDP vs. Christian were nothing special so they are still even. Then Edge spends since then working with Kurt Angle, Chris Jericho, spending time as Hogan's buddy which I would imagine helped him to learn how to work the fans more, and then spends a couple of months with Eddy Guerrero. Name me one person that Christian has teamed with/faced who even comes close to one of those things that Edge has been provided with. After all of that if Edge was not the same ability worker as Christian they should shoot him in the head and move along because there is no hope. If you put Christian in the role that Edge has had with the months of learning and being with very high quality opponents I think he would be a great worker.

Yeah ,you are right Taker has drawn so much money for Vince with that Kane feud, or the Executioner feud, how about that Fake Taker saga? or the Big Bossman HITC that was the only reason I ordered Wrestlemania 15. If Taker is not feuding with HBK or Austin who are real draws, the fans don't really care about him. Just remember Wrestlemania 13, Taker against Sid, worst Wrestlemania of all time.

I don't agree with this arguement because those three have never been given a chance to draw. UT was a bad draw that is a fact. To say that a bad draw is more valuable than people who have never been given a chance is not valid. And as for these transformations everyone has them and those two have had relatively few.

UT dead man walking -----------> UT american badass

That is the only transformation I can think of and the whole time he has been an unstoppable force so if he complained he should be beaten.

HHH snob------> HHH degenerate---------> HHH game

That is just character development. He was a punk who got serious and became a champion. So UT 1 change over 10 years is a good ratio for a wrestler. And I dont think HHH would complain about his change either.

Where's Christian's PPV match with Kurt Angle or Eddie Guererro? Hell, his one with DDP was good, and it didn't get what Edge matches get (time wise, status) Put Edge up against someone NOT good (Regal, Test) and you get not good matches. Those good matches haven't exactly been Edge's doing.

you know what Christian match I like?

vs. Al Snow at Survivor Series last year.

That was a fun match...and the rare Christian singles match on ppv.

Weird...most people would say Wrestlemania 9 was the worst...

That's the Double Title Switch and Taker/Giant Gonzales

I disagree on the UT and HHH character developments, more on the Taker one. He was reinvented so many times more than what you posted. After Paul Bearer turned on him, Taker went all Grunge and stuff, sticking a small flame on his cheek and became more human. Then he played the American Badass character in the summer of 98..only he didn't have a bike.

Then lets not forgive about "embalming" Undertaker, complete with his own satanic, which, surprise surprise, contained E&C.

Trips has had less character changes, true.

Yeah ,you are right Taker has drawn so much money for Vince with that Kane feud,

His feud with Kane drew huge in 98 & 99.

or the Big Bossman HITC that was the only reason I ordered Wrestlemania 15.

Only one match on that entire show was good from a wrestling or fan interest standpoint.

If Taker is not feuding with HBK or Austin who are real draws,

Shawn Michaels couldn't draw flies with 2 hands full of shit until the last 6 months of his career.

the fans don't really care about him.

Sure they do. Just not enough to justify his CURRENT main event spot.

Just remember Wrestlemania 13, Taker against Sid, worst Wrestlemania of all time.

You mean the Wrestlemania that took place after "real draw" Shawn Michaels spent almost a year failing miserably as champion?

Austin drew huge in 98 & 99.

Everyone else was along for the ride at that point

I'm baffled as to where this Christian love is coming from. The guy is mediocre. This is coming from someone who used to be seriously into E and C too, but that was mainly their hilarious antics and promos. Their standard tag matches weren't usually much to write home about. Decent but not all that great. And in the TLC matches they were just along for the ride while the Duds and Hardys did all the real work.

Christian matches tend to all look alike and have a lot of boring resting in them. Edge has good and bad outings depending on who he faces.

That's pretty much my main gripe with him, as well. If it wasn't for his belief in Resthold-Fu, I'd probably be a bigger fan of his.

I really think that after No Mercy (when Edge killed his cred and his push was killed) Christian went into this funk. He really has no motivation.

Not really. I just watched a bunch of stuff from 99-2001 involving Christian and he was doing copious amounts of restholds long before the break-up.
