I think this is when we're going to see a lot of development in the storyline. Maybe a few beatdowns or something of that nature. Guest mastermind Report post Posted February 28, 2002 Another thing that will really do well. Have Hogan take back the big gold belt physically and spray paint it NWO. I mean I know the wwf wouldn't do it, but Hogan IS the real title holder. It would probably just confuse fans, but Hogan never lost the title at Bash at the Beach in 2000. Hogan desecrating the wwf title would also draw heat. Hogan/Hall/Nash desecrating all the titles by claiming they are the greatest champs ever can go somewhere, but I bet Austin and Trips would vetoe these type of ideas. I think it would be cool if the NWO actually carried around their old titles. They would be dripping in gold. This way they can play off not winning titles because they got stands full of championship belts. However, back to the original thing. Guest Army Eye Report post Posted February 28, 2002 I was a huge beliver and still am, that the WWF should play up the "When you're nWo...you're nWo 4 life!" catch-phrase. Then list all the former nWo members that are in the WWF, and how they built this huge army-like group in WCW. That would be people wondering "Will he re-join?" A video package MUST be done on the nWo. Show all the beat downs they did in WCW. Show their past in the WWF. Not a bad idea at all. I would hold hold off on this for a while. Let the NWO pretty much dominate for a few months, then when the WWF starts to get a leg up, they start to show the NWO talking to guys backstage. Then through clips and stuff, they start to shed some light on who has been former members in the past. Showing clips of old Nitro promos with the ring chock full of NWO members would be quite effective in showing how much of an army they became. Then you could have some heated tugs-of-war over key wrestlers between WWF and NWO, reminiscent of how NWO used to try and recruit DDP, or Sting. One thing is for sure. Instead of taking 20 minutes of Smackdown to recap the latest Raw (and vice versa), it would be a lot more productive to show some NWO in WCW footage and give them some background.
