Are You Evil?

I find myself when playing a game that has both a good guy/bad guy option that I gravitate to the evil side. I also enjoy games where you are evil/bad. Tie Fighter I loved because I could be the Empire. GTA 3 lets you beat the ever-loving crap out of everyone. Medal Of Honor I always play as the Germans. Good just seems to be boring. What about you?

There's just something about a video game that gives you a chance to do stuff you can't do in real life. Example:

 

GTA3: Just causing all out mayhem is fun. Running over people, beating people with bats, etc.

 

Shadowrun: I was low on cash, so I decided instead of doing jobs for cash, I would mug people. I beat up this one guy, took his money, and got stopped by a cop. Luckily i was able to send him on his way before starting back my little crime spree.

 

Red Faction: I love putting a bomb on some unsuspecting civilian and watch him run around screaming and flapping his arms

I agree especially with running over people. There are many time when I've just wanted to run someone down who decides to cross in the middle of the street in traffic instead of use the crosswalk that is 10 feet away.

 

Its also nice to run people off into the river or wait for an ambulance to come and then jack it and run over the EMTs.

I like getting a nice car fitted with a bomb, going to the bad side of town and arming it. So fun to watch the poor bastard get his comeuppance. Of course then I start Molotov Cocktailing the people that decide to gather around.

 

Being evil in video games is half the fun.

Lately I've been spending my time beating people with a bat. I also like hiding on a rooftop shooting at cops. I was up to like 4 stars and had the Police Helo shooting at me while I hid under a sign.

 

It was pretty tense. Guess I shouldn't have club the cop and stole his car and ran over his buddy.

I like being the good person and turning heel. In Goldeneye I always capped people who were supposed to help me.

Definitely evil...when I play Smackdown, I'm always pick the Undertaker, and I never let the opposition get in any offense.

 

Also, in Madden, I play a custom team with OJ as the RB, and the rest of the roster filled with the best criminals the Cowboys organization ever produced.

You know what's fun? Blowing up Natalya with remote mines. That NEVER gets old.

 

That and cutting scientists in half with the RC-P90 in the facility.

Use the cheat codes in GTA3 (they're at gamefaqs) to get the tank, and go on a rampage. In the third city, you can get up to SIX stars, and the fed cars are plowing into you like so many suicide squad members. It's beautiful.

On MOH: Allied Assault in the multiplayer you can be Germans yes.

Best thing with the scientists is to lay a mine then get them to run towards you. Time it right and they fly and do a cartwheel towards you.

 

I'm always going for the evil side. If it's a sports game, cheat to win and play dirty. In No Mercy, no matter how much of a face I'm using, I always end up using some underhanded heel tactic. I also always pick the most evil character available in any multi-player game.
