Tommy Dreamer push

I suppose the pretaped Dreamer Beatdown on Nowinski was the excuse to get Chris off tv for him to either get his surgery or to have it done and recover. So whats left for Dreamer? As a Wrestler he is at least decent But obviously the cult following he recieved came from being Hardcore. Since destroying the Hardcore division that kinda leaves him out in Limbo. He gotten extreme with Big Show, and Chris, but whats the point? If he can't go Hardcore with the results of getting the title, then what real good is he other than going back to being a preliminary wrestlers and job for Kane, or the Unamericans, or Jericho maybe.

what do you think?

I think you just summed it up. There is jack for him to do that I can think of, and I doubt the creative team has an idea either.

I think Tommy is best in a feud that involves a lot of emotion. Even Raven vs. Tommy again over something that is deeply personal would be good since they both seem to thrive in that type of feud.

I don't know what it is but a Raven Dreamer feud would be sooo money in the bank. a midcard feud for a year could get interesting, if the WWE writers don't listen to how a feud like that works From Heyman.

I think a year is a stretch. Right now you have to ease people into things. The last long angle was the McMahon-Helmsley era. I think start with a good 2-3 months and go from there.

Off the subject of Dreamer, I really miss those old long lasting fueds, especially from the midcard. With everyone turning so often, or at least the fued dieing after the PPV, no one gets a real good hate-on going anymore.

I personally thought the Dreamer-Nowinski segment was the best brawl seen on WWE TV in quite a while. It was quite realistic looking (aside from the set up premise of Nowinski luring Dreamer into a classroom...). Anyways, I am starting to dig Tommy Dreamer. They just need to keep him away from stupid "hardcore" matches and put him in a decent feud with another midcarder until Nowinski comes back. Maybe someone like Steven Richards or better yet, Raven, as others suggested, would work well. Hell, get all three of those guys working a program together. Throw in Perry Saturn and it could be a great tag team feud.

Just have Raven reform his nest. Then out of nowhere, jump Dreamer, and when Dreamer finally comes to, he just has this look on his face. Or you can have them tag, and have a little bit of success, and then Raven turns on him, DDT's, Dreamer tries to fight back, but the nest runs out and jumps Dreamer. While Dreamer is getting the beatdown, Raven is giving another psychological speech on their days at summercamp fighting over Beulah McGillicutty. Hell, they can even sign her for this feud......ok, I kind of went from, "what might really happen" to "damn, I wish they would do this"

I liked his mini feud with Stevie Richards...I'm just happy to see Dreamer on tv and getting a decient push.

Cause without Dreamer is might be safe to say that Raven, Credible, and the Dudleys might not be in the WWE right now...he got them all over in ECW.

Dreamer is just mid card filler on Raw. Were it not for the split he wouldn't even be on TV.

that said, Dreamer kicks ass, and a Raven would doubly kick ass, because they both kick ass, so it would be like kicking two asses at once.

have Tommy Dreamer vs Rico with Dreamer always preventing the 3 minute beatdown or making the save.

It looked like they were doing an angle where Dreamer was going to beat the crap out of people as his way of remaining hardcore, even without the hardcore title. I wonder what they're going to do with that now that Nowinski is out.

That might be a cool idea. Except, honestly, Tommy Dreamer isn't going to be enough to take out Jamal and Rosey. I Couls see them setting it up where Rico jumps him somewhere for whatever reason, and Tommy comes out and just says "Give me three minutes"

Ultimo Dragon, originally in ECW it was Raven's nest. The nest and the flock were a tad different. The Flock was more of a faction. The nest was basically just Raven and Stevie as his lackey and on different occasions they would hire whoever they needed to take people out. I like the concept of the Nest better.

anything that gets Raven on my TV, preferably on Raw again, and not still trying to put over 'Ruthless Agression' is fine with me, especially if it's a feud w/ Dreamer

I'd love to see Raven and Dreamer start their feud up again.

I think it could help both of them AND the company all at the same time.

I think these two guys could get their feud over big time with the proper booking.

I also think it's something many fans want to see.

I know I do!

I think that getting rid of the Hardcore Title was a smart move, but only if they still have hardcore matches as a form of grudge or special group who are just whacko enough to do them regardless of title earnings.

What made hardcore special to me was that regardless of title (or in ecw where it was common place) the wrestlers would carry on the HC match with no real aim at the title.. it was just hardcore. Having the HC title in WWE (or WCW) was just killing the philosophy to me.

Guys like Crash, Bob Holly, Albert, Bradshaw and so on really didnt belong in HC matches, but were in there simply because they had to wrestle in some title division. Each of them, it was probably a step in the wrong direction saying they should be CW or IC (or Euro).
