Guest Steveweiser Report post Posted February 27, 2002 Quick Heat results first... Rob Van Dam b. Lance Storm Edge b. Mr Perfect via DQ Test b. The Hurricane Rikishi b. Perry Saturn Tonight's SmackDown main event is a tag match with Triple H and Kane up against Chris Jericho and Kurt Angle, and it's rumoured that The Rock will return tonight to confront the nWo. So far on SmackDown, the Dudleyz and Jazz have beaten Team Xtreme thanx to interference by Stacy. And Flair has told Taker that his answer will be decided upon tonight. Should be good... Guest Kahran Ramsus Report post Posted February 27, 2002 Whoopee, another tag team main event.
Guest Steveweiser Report post Posted February 27, 2002 Some more happenings... Steve Austin pulled a gun on the nWo... or rather it was some sort of gimmicked gun that contained a net that forced Kevin Nash down onto the floor, but Scott Hall was able to put Austin down by clipping the Rattlesnake's knee. And William Regal has lost a non-title match to The Big Show, as Show fell onto Regal after the IC Champ hit him with the brass knux - looks like Regal will have to rethink his strategy going into his big WM title defense against Rob Van Dam... Guest Tony149 Report post Posted February 27, 2002 Why another tag main event? Damn, there are a lot of those.
Guest bps "The Truth" 21 Report post Posted February 27, 2002 RVD vs. Storm or tag team ME... I think Heat is going to be better than Smackdown...although Heat does have Test and Rikishi...
Guest Steveweiser Report post Posted February 27, 2002 Some weird shit came up involving Goldust, Maven, Al Snow, The Undertaker and Ric Flair - Maven successfully defended his Hardcore Title against Goldust, but was then beaten up by Taker, who was clotheslined by Al Snow, who Taker then chokeslammed onto concrete, then Ric Flair cracked Taker over the head with a lead pipe! And the answer's still no to WrestleMania!!!
Guest Steveweiser Report post Posted February 27, 2002 Ladies and gentlemen, all the heat from the Tag Team Title match at WrestleMania is GONE, as they've had that exact match for the titles just now, and Billy & Chuck have retained against the APA thanx to a FameAsser. I just don't see why they had that exact match when the bookers KNEW that it was the Tag Title match for WrestleMania, and now they've blown it on free TV with the champions going over. The only way to salvage this is with a big funny gimmick for WM... AND WE HAVE A NEW WWF HARDCORE CHAMPION!!! This new Hardcore champion is very special, because with the crumpled piece of gold, we will never forget the name of... (dodgy gay breath) GOLDUST!!! Maven was being treated by the EMTs after the Undertaker beat him up earlier, Goldust then showed up, shoved him off the table and pinned him under the 24/7 rule, and he's the new champ. Nice. Guest Tony149 Report post Posted February 27, 2002 I guess David is next in line for a beating.
Guest bps "The Truth" 21 Report post Posted February 27, 2002 If this leads to Goldust vs. Maven at Mania...ewww. I don't know what they were thinking with that tag match. Hopefully APA will lose there spot.

Guest Steveweiser Report post Posted February 27, 2002 In the end, Booker T had a different opponent than Tajiri (Booker felt offended at Tajiri's "lackluster help" whilst practicising his Japanese earlier), but the end expected result was the same, he beat Scotty 2 Hotty with the axe kick, the Spinaroonie and the Harlem Side Kick. But after the match, it was announced backstage that the Japanese shampoo company had awarded the sponsorship deal to Edge instead, and the BookerMan was irate, so he beat on S2H some more, until Albert made the save. Guest Rabies Report post Posted February 27, 2002 I hope Maven stays off Raw/SD! for a very long time, but since TE2 is just around the corner we'll be seeing a lot of him. Fuck. "I guess David is next in line for a beating. " Oh, God, please no. He was one of the reasons why fans stopped watching WCW. But to keep on Ric's good side with the company, David is basically part of the deal. Shit, fuck, damn! "24/7 Rule? It still exists? " I just want that embarassing "title" to die a quick death. Bang! Never mentioned on TV a-gain. I know I'm not alone.
Guest bps "The Truth" 21 Report post Posted February 27, 2002 Edge vs. Booker at Mania? that could be real good. Stupid idea for a feud...but a good match.

Guest Steveweiser Report post Posted February 27, 2002 It's Stephanie McMahon, baby, and she's suing in the courts! In addition to the divorce proceedings that they are due to go through, Stephanie told her estranged husband to his face that she is to sue him for slander in regards to the comments that Triple H made on Raw about Stephanie sleeping around the locker room. And what's more, she's suing him for half of the rest of his life earnings. You don't wanna be Triple H (in the storylines) now, do ya??? And now for ANOTHER self-confidence building session with Christian and Diamond Dallas Page! The European Champ brings in some kids so that Christian can establish a better rapport with them, but the kids are rude to him. One of them even kicks Christian. DDP proceeds to say that this might need a bit of work... behind the scenes, DDP, behind the scenes. More to come... NEXT!!!
Guest bps "The Truth" 21 Report post Posted February 27, 2002 If this leads to DDP vs. Christian and Edge vs. Booker...that would be good.
Guest Will Scarlet Report post Posted February 27, 2002 So let me get this straight, Booker T and Edge are going to be feuding because Booker is jealous that Edge won the Japanese shampoo commercial instead of him? Um...okay. That's...different. The match should be entertaining, at least, as long as they do not do something stupid like a Japanese shampoo commercial contract on a pole match, though I would not that past the booking team lately... Guest Steveweiser Report post Posted February 27, 2002 And the show's all over, as Kane and Triple H beat Kurt Angle and Chris Jericho, with HHH pinning Angle. SmackDown results are as follows... Dudley Boyz/Jazz b. Team Xtreme NON-TITLE MATCH: The Big Show b. William Regal WWF HARDCORE TITLE MATCH: Maven © b. Goldust Al Snow NC The Undertaker WWF TAG TEAM TITLES MATCH: Billy & Chuck © b. APA WWF HARDCORE TITLE MATCH - 24/7 RULES: Goldust b. Maven © [Goldust is the new WWF Hardcore Champion] Booker T b. Scotty 2 Hotty Kane/Triple H b. Kurt Angle/Chris Jericho And only a few minutes early on for the nWo... who said they were hogging the limelight???
Guest bps "The Truth" 21 Report post Posted February 27, 2002 sigh. Raw Ratings went down after Smackdown was bad last week...After Raw and Smackdown this week...something tells me the trend will continue.
Guest Some Guy Report post Posted February 27, 2002 HHH beating Angle is stupid. Jericho beating Kane is smart. HHH doesn't need the win since everyone (marks and smarks, a like) knows he's getting the belts. Why not make your Worl Champion look strong and pray that you can add some doubt in the fan's minds about the outcome at Mania?
Guest bps "The Truth" 21 Report post Posted February 27, 2002 Logic would agree with you...unless they are going to have Angle and Jericho win at Mania (which is what SHOULD happen). But logic and the WWF don't play well together.
Guest goodhelmet Report post Posted February 27, 2002 on a positive note, we mighht get Edge-Booker at Mania which could be a very watchable match if they give them time. "as long as they do not do something stupid like a Japanese shampoo commercial contract on a pole match, though I would not that past the booking team lately..." come on, pole matches sell tickets dammit! Guest Some Guy Report post Posted February 27, 2002 bps, Angle should win and so should HHH. They need the face to go over in the title match, especially if Hogan is going over, which I think he is. Unfortunatley all the wrestlers who are really in need of a BIG win are heels but you can't have all the heels go over, it's bad for business and illogical.
