Guest Midnight Express83 Posted September 26, 2002 Report Posted September 26, 2002 My vote goes for Wrestlemania 1. Its all hype no real good action. Nothing on it is really good. Just squashes and Hogan ego fucking.
Guest papacita Posted September 26, 2002 Report Posted September 26, 2002 Aside from Chyna/Jericho, I hated Survivor Series 99. Armageddon 99 and Wrestlepalooza 98 (ECW) were horrible too.
Guest Youth N Asia Posted September 26, 2002 Report Posted September 26, 2002 Aside from Chyna/Jericho, I hated Survivor Series 99 Same here, and I was there. The Jericho/Chyna match was the only one with any real drama behind it...the 4 on 4 matches, while most of them decient, were just filler it seemed. The N.A.O. vs Snow/Foley match was boring...Kane/X Pac was like a 4 minute dq fuck finish...the world title match was suprising, but not good. AND EVERYONE went home pissed over Austin. It was nice to say I was there live for Kurt Angle's debut though. And I think Wrestlemania 1 gets a bye just for being the first huge ppv...even though it was kinda boring.
Guest kingkamala Posted September 26, 2002 Report Posted September 26, 2002 Wrestlepalooza 98 Shane Douglas vs. Al Snow: Battle for being Marty Jannety's 2nd best friend
Guest converge241 Posted September 27, 2002 Report Posted September 27, 2002 Starrcade 97 98 99 for dropping the ball in huge gigantic ways Bunkhouse Stampede. even i knew it was crap when i ordered it when i was 12
Guest Your Olympic Hero Posted September 27, 2002 Report Posted September 27, 2002 Nothing can compare to the shittyness of GAB '91. WE WANT FLAIR
Guest MaxPower27 Posted September 27, 2002 Report Posted September 27, 2002 Legends of Wrestling or Wrestlemania 9
Guest BAR Posted September 27, 2002 Report Posted September 27, 2002 WWF In Your House 4, Diesel vs. Davey Boy Smith, horrific, just horrific.
Guest Kotzenjunge Posted September 27, 2002 Report Posted September 27, 2002 Whenever the last time this came up was, I said that Legends of Wrestling was. Fo sheez, Kotzenjunge
Guest Bricks Posted September 27, 2002 Report Posted September 27, 2002 King Of The Ring 1995. King Mabel. 'Nuff said.
Guest Your Olympic Hero Posted September 27, 2002 Report Posted September 27, 2002 King Of The Ring 1995. King Mabel. 'Nuff said. Damn I forgot about that one. Maybe that's a good thing.
Guest alkeiper Posted September 28, 2002 Report Posted September 28, 2002 And I think Wrestlemania 1 gets a bye just for being the first huge ppv...even though it was kinda boring. WrestleMania wasn't actually a PPV, it was closed circuit.
Guest Pop Culture God Posted September 28, 2002 Report Posted September 28, 2002 None of the WM's compare to the shittyness that is KOTR 95, GAB 91, or Royal Rumble 94. That's not an opinion, that's clinical fact.
Guest Youth N Asia Posted September 28, 2002 Report Posted September 28, 2002 WrestleMania wasn't actually a PPV, it was closed circuit. Ah hell, I did in fact know that...duder threw me off by saying that in the first place...I shoudl have just called it the first major Big Show
Guest AM The Kid Posted September 28, 2002 Report Posted September 28, 2002 Over The Edge '99...enough said.
Guest T®ITEC Posted September 28, 2002 Report Posted September 28, 2002 Legends of Wrestling, KotR 1995, either WWA PPV, both weeks of TNA that I ordered (12 and.. 9, I think), KotR 2002 (forever ruined by Jericho's hatred)... I haven't watched Survivor Series 2001 since I ordered it, but that's just because I was a total Alliance mark. Over The Edge '99... Well.
Guest Si82 Posted September 28, 2002 Report Posted September 28, 2002 I really hate WCW Bash At The Beach 1999. Utter crap.
Guest kingkamala Posted September 28, 2002 Report Posted September 28, 2002 Now the three WWA PPVs weren't great by any means each featured some decent-really good matches. The first one had a good hardcore match between Crowbar and Norman Smiley and a decent cage match between Road Dogg and Jeff Jarrett. The second one had a great six way elimination match as an opener and Psychosis Vs Juvi Vs Eddie Guerrero, while disapointing was still a decent match. It also had a good garbage wrestling match between Sabu and Crowbar. The third one while it was probably the worst featured three good matches(AJ Styles-Nova, AJ Styles and the Crowbar-Sabu cage match)
Guest T®ITEC Posted September 28, 2002 Report Posted September 28, 2002 That's true about the WWA PPVs... I guess. I saw the one in February, and the one in April. I would call them bad simply because I can't remember a thing that happened on any of them, save for the Psychosis/Juvi/Eddy match. So, I figure: If I can only remember one thing from two WWA PPVs... They probably weren't super-fantastic. Tantric was pretty cool when they played, though. Took me about the half of their performance to figure out who they were.
Guest El Psycho Diablo Posted September 28, 2002 Report Posted September 28, 2002 WWE SummerSlam 2002. Brock Lesnar wins the WWE Undisputed Championship.
Guest Agent of Oblivion Posted September 29, 2002 Report Posted September 29, 2002 Silly smart marks, the show in question is HEROES of wrestling, not LEGENDS of wrestling, unless there's been a worse show called that which I haven't seen yet. Of a major promotion, Great American Bash 91 for WCW. It's starts with a scaffold match, has the dreadfully dull RnR's Explode. EL GIGANTE, and Lex Loser in the main event that topped out at *3/4 for match of the show. KOTR 95 is without a doubt the worst WWF show. KOTR 99 is second worst.
Guest Midnight Express83 Posted September 29, 2002 Report Posted September 29, 2002 With my biased in worst WWE PPV has to be Over the Edge 99. Only for the fact that a star died and they didn't tell anyone. Which is bullshit. I understand keeping the PPV going. But atleast telling the crowd and wrestlers wouldn't have been much. Wrestlemania 1 I voted because its just hype. Without the hype, its a wrestling challenge but with no TV breaks.
Guest BAR Posted September 29, 2002 Report Posted September 29, 2002 I'll agree on Over The Edge '99, but you can't deny the show known as In Your House 4, but I'll let it slide as it had the debut of Goldust, which in my opinion is a good thing. He's a riot. Oh yeah, ECW November To Remember '97, I really hate this one, Sabu/Sandman is a disgrace and the main event is bad too.
Guest bob_barron Posted September 29, 2002 Report Posted September 29, 2002 KOTR 95 is the worst I've seen. I enjoyed RR94- the Harts v. Quebecers match is awesome and the Rumble is pretty good
Guest DrainYou42 Posted September 29, 2002 Report Posted September 29, 2002 WrestleMania 9 - Hogan walking in and winning a world title, Giant Gonzalez against the Undertaker, couldn't you just smell the workrate? Jim Ross in a toga? need I say more?
Guest Mad Dog Posted September 29, 2002 Report Posted September 29, 2002 Wrestlemania 2 - I think there was maybe 2 good matches on the whole show. Wrestlemania 9 - horrible GAB 91 - for reasons already mentioned Unforgiven 02 - I really passionately hate this show for all the politicing. Starcade 98 - WCW dies
Guest redbaron51 Posted September 29, 2002 Report Posted September 29, 2002 Uncensored 96 does anyone remember this garbage that WCW threw out, all gimmicks nothing else...pathetic
Guest bob_barron Posted September 29, 2002 Report Posted September 29, 2002 Uncensored 96 does anyone remember this garbage that WCW threw out, all gimmicks nothing else...pathetic Uncensored 96 has a classic Regal v. Finlay match
Guest bob_barron Posted September 29, 2002 Report Posted September 29, 2002 Wrestlemania 2 - I think there was maybe 2 good matches on the whole show. Wrestlemania 9 - horrible GAB 91 - for reasons already mentioned Unforgiven 02 - I really passionately hate this show for all the politicing. Starcade 98 - WCW dies Oh boo-hoo with the politics, I buy a PPV to be entertained not to go: Wow- Taker and HHH are really being team players. Unforgiven had two awesome matches (including my MOTY- Benoit v. Angle) and a very good 8-man tag. HHH v. RVD was alright and yea- Taker v. Brock was awful but those two awesome matches make it a good show in my eyes. WM2 while not a good show- I would'nt lump in worst show ever category. There are two good matches, plus a very entertaining Piper v. T boxing match and a hilarious Piper promo.
