Exactly don't these morons realize how good they have it here, that America gives them the RIGHT to protest and make asses of themselves where in most other countries they'd be stoned or run over by a tank.

I think Mumia is some cop killer who the Left thinks was framed or something.

 

I had to go to a wake tonight (another dead 23 year old, drugs) and on my way there I was driving down Mass Ave in Arlington and in teh center there were about 25 nimrods holding peace-nick signs and what not, they didn't seem to like it when we drove by and I did the "wiping tears away with my fists" thing. I think I offended a bunch of people who support a totalitarian dictator over Democracy, I don't know how I'll sleep tonight.

Mumia killed some cops, supposedly in self-defense, and was also supposedly rail-roaded into jail unfairly.

 

(Note the repeated use of "supposedly.")

 

Anyway, he's a pretty common 'cause' for protesters to take up, largely because Rage Against the Machine made a really big deal out of the case. Many of their videos and liner notes on their albums contained "Free Mumia" messages and the like, and the Mumia case was one of 2 or 3 big issues that Zack de la Rocha harped on for his entire career with the band. If rock stars says it's right, than obviously it is, duh.
