Guest Pop Culture God Report post Posted September 29, 2002 In all honesty, RVD should have won that match, Because Brock killed him everytime they met for a fucking month, and since RVD only won by DQ and was then killed again, I'd say Brock looked strong the whole time. Compare RVD to Hoagan and Rock: RVD: Neither man gets a really decisive victory although there are punk-outs administered on both sides. Brock cannot get the win at Vengeance thus blowing his "Unstoppable Monster" routine, and RVD only wins by DQ thus failing to regain heat after the beatings he took on RAW. Hogan: Hogan challenged for his title shot at Summer Slam, and in the marks eyes, Brock ended Hogan's career. This was the first feud that was handled perfectly for Brock. Rock: Awesome cerebral feud, where Brock would trick Rock, but not allow him to confront him. Thus, building his frustrations before he won at Summer Slam. Now, do you see why it's tough to compare the RVD feud to Hogan or Rock?
Guest Brian Report post Posted September 29, 2002 Actually, Brock had the two on one advantage, hadn't lost before, and had beat RVD a month earlier. By not winning, he was hurt; they booked themselves into a corner, unless RVD was going to win and get the title shot and lost the IC title to Brock later. Guest Anglesault Report post Posted September 29, 2002 RVD: Neither man gets a really decisive victory I count King of the Ring a decisive victory, because that was clean. Heyman's interference didn't affect the finish, and in all honesty, it wasn't exactly effective either. although there are punk-outs administered on both sides. Yes, Brock murdered RVD, so RVD would get revenge by attacking Brock's fat, balding manager. That can be viewed as even, I guess. Actually, Brock had the two on one advantage, hadn't lost before, and had beat RVD a month earlier. By not winning, he was hurt; they You never see the monster heel kill the monster babyface all feud and then win the blow off. When the hell has that ever happened?
