What GameCube game should I buy next? I've already got Resident Evil, Super Smash Brothers: Melee, Eternal Darkness, Pikmin,Turok Evolution, Wrestlemania X8, and Spider-Man. I'm thinking about Mario Sunshine, Star Fox Adventures, and Sonic Adventure 2.

Mario Sunshine would be a good choice, as would Animal Crossing. Super Monkey Ball 1 and/or 2 are both great games that will keep you entertained.

I've heard good things about Animal Crossing and Sunshine. However, I've played Sonic 2 and I can honestly say it's not worth the money. You would have to pay me to ever play that game again.

Super Mario Sunshine is getting by far the best reviews of those three games, and I've yet to talk to anyone that doesn't like it, so I'd recommend it. Haven't played it myself, though, so I can't give too strong of a recommendation.

Im backing off from wanting Starfox, and so I'll probably just get Mario Sunshine now.

All the reviews I've read say that it should have never been made a Star Fox game (It was originally a game called Dinosaur Planet for the N64, then Nintendo told RARE to turn it into a StarFox game and put it on the Gamecube). Everyone was of the opinion that RARE would do a decent job of turning the game into a Star Fox title, but apparently they did little more than replace the main characters with Star Fox and Crew and add airwing levels that are apparently rediculously easy. Reports were that the original Dinosaur Planet would have over 60 hours of gameplay, but apparently RARE also cut some of the game, as reports have the Star Fox version of the game only having about 20-30 hours of gameplay, which seems long, but a chunk of that time is apparently devoted to running around and collecting stuff.

While the graphics, sound (both music and most voice acting) is said to be top notch, the gameplay doesn't seem to be living up to the hype that the original Dinosaur Planet had which was pumped up even more when it was announced that it was being made into a Star Fox title. Overall its apparently a slightly above average game, which is considerably less than what everyone was expecting.

I wouldn't be StarFox just because it's full of furries.

I mean, I was more excited than anyone here probably about Blinx and the new stuff it brought to the table, but then I see stuff like this and deicde it must be just a rental.

BPS is right, in one of those odd occasions where we agree. Go with that, or Animal Crossing, I guess, which still has talking animals in clothes, but at least they don't resemble some weirdos erotic fetish.
