Guest GreenMist Posted September 29, 2002 Report Posted September 29, 2002 Yay! He turns 32 today! Maybe he'll get pushed!!!! Or maybe he'll job to Rikishi!! You decide!
Guest franchise632 Posted September 29, 2002 Report Posted September 29, 2002 since he is the man in my Avitar I would also like to send out my best wishes. I know he can read this, even though he Kayfabes his english.
Guest Anglesault Posted September 29, 2002 Report Posted September 29, 2002 Well, this fills my useless information quota for the day. Happy Birthday, Tajiri!
Rob E Dangerously Posted September 29, 2002 Report Posted September 29, 2002 maybe he'll get a birthday party then he will kick the cake into the face of somebody
Guest evenflowDDT Posted September 29, 2002 Report Posted September 29, 2002 Happy birthday Tajiri! It's too bad that he won't be getting any form of "present" from the WWE. He's still stuck in his role as "that guy who always hangs out with Knoble & Nidia", and I haven't even seen him on TV in weeks (although I haven't seen Velocity in a while). I remember that period when he first came in and he was being used as a "silent killer" type role, but since then he hasn't done a whole heck of a lot. Even the Tarantula was turned into a semi-comedy spot by Funaki for a couple weeks.
Guest Mystery Eskimo Posted September 29, 2002 Report Posted September 29, 2002 Happy b'day F'naki! I wonder what he did to be punished by jobbing to Mark Henry... Oh yeah, he's not 300lbs.
Guest DragonflyKid Posted September 29, 2002 Report Posted September 29, 2002 To change the topic a bit, where does everyone see Tajiri in a few years? The comparisions to Muta have been made but does Tajiri have what it takes to ever make an impact in the HW division like Muta did. Tajiri is only 5'7 and doesn't have much muscle mass, Muta was over 5'10 and was thicker than Tajiri. Mic work is so important today, Tajiri will probably never be good on the mic thus will never get a big push. I see Tajiri wrestling no more than two or three years in the WWE, maybe winning the cruiserweight belt a time or two but never going higher than that. Then he will go back to Japan and be a Junior as he isn't big enough to ever compete on a HW level there either.
Guest GreenMist Posted September 29, 2002 Report Posted September 29, 2002 Eskimo, you're confusing your Japanese men. It's Tajiri's birthday, not Funaki's. It's understandable, after all, they're foreign and Japanese-so they're just funny guys! Lolz!!!1111
Guest BoboBrazil Posted September 29, 2002 Report Posted September 29, 2002 Tajiri was crazy over when they pushed him. I don't see why they stopped and made him a jobber.

Guest razazteca Posted September 29, 2002 Report Posted September 29, 2002 I see Tajiri vs Eddy Guerrero Main Event sometime early next year if not then maybe Raw #1 Announcer
Guest D'Lo White Posted September 29, 2002 Report Posted September 29, 2002 I see Tajiri vs Eddy Guerrero Main Event sometime early next year I would love to see that. I'll make sure to watch that episode of Velocity.
Guest razazteca Posted September 29, 2002 Report Posted September 29, 2002 it could be a Smackdown Main Event but of course it would have to be in California or Texas to get any kind of crowd reaction
Guest Zero_Cool Posted September 30, 2002 Report Posted September 30, 2002 Well..might as well.. Happy Birthday, Tajiri!
Guest DJ Jeff Posted September 30, 2002 Report Posted September 30, 2002 Happy birthday, Tajiri. Maybe now he'll win the Cruiserweight Title sometime soon.

Guest AndrewTS Posted September 30, 2002 Report Posted September 30, 2002 I've heard that personally, Tajiri doesn't even really enjoy wrestling all that much. It just happens to be something he's good at. So considering that, I'd figure he'd wrestle maybe a couple more years now that he's making some good money in the WWE, and retire while still rather young and healthy.
Guest EMAXSAUN Posted September 30, 2002 Report Posted September 30, 2002 maybe tajiri can join up with his old master regal and join the un americans, and then he can be their head spokesman, so he will come out and cut anti america promos...entirely in japanese
Guest razazteca Posted September 30, 2002 Report Posted September 30, 2002 been there done that.... see Funaki, INDEED see La Parka, in WCW, he had the power of Greyskull

Must have missed that match... seriously, was it the opener or something, because I only saw two matches last week, the main event and the Edge/Eddie spectacle.
Guest Spaceman Spiff Posted September 30, 2002 Report Posted September 30, 2002 Chavo/Rikishi was the opener. The Torrie/Nidia bikini thing was next, which set up the Tajiri/Knoble vs. C&B match. It was a pretty good match. Tajiri & Knoble worked over Billy's knee, and Billy sold it like a champ, going so far as to collapse off an irish whip. C&B won.
