If you're looking for positives on the Viking side...they haven't given up. They were still playing tough in the second half when Seattle seemed to put it in cruise control. Throw in the dropped TD passes and this game is much closer than it looks.

There's some positiveness for you.

now they know that they should let Moe Williams do all of the punt and kickoff returns, as he does not drop the ball.

Oh blah blah...Vikings have no defense and no running game to write home about. But hey why don't we just blame the easy target. The so called "evil man" that is supposedly responsible for every bad thing in football now.

Yep Randy Moss spread his "evilness" and made the defense and special teams play like a high school team playing The University of Miami against their wills.

Yes, that's right Minnesota would've played well, if it wasn't for that "evil" Randy Moss brainwashing all of his team mates and making them all play bad.

Yeah that's the only possible answer to all of this...

A few thoughts...

* The scary thing is if the Vikings would have made that FG attempt at the end of the half and kicked FGs for all the times they were in scoring range, they would have only needed 2 scores midway through the 4th...

* A big F-U to that MaGuire (sp) announcer who criticized the fans for getting on Randy's case. I used to like this trio, but after hearing Patrick get on his knees to Jimmy Carter last week, and listening to fatso tonight, I think I'm just going to listen to music instead of listening to these three during my Sunday night workout...

Oh, come on, so he may not have a perfect life outside of the game. Big deal. What about all the supposed rapes that football players were charged with before? Or anyone who brushed with the law while playing? No one seemed to give a shit then. Honestly, Randy Moss seems to legit feel remorse for what he did, and the fans shit on him. Whatever. It's sad, actually. And good for the anouncer for sticking up for him.

Thank You. Moss had nothing to do with the loss. Moss was playing hard he just couldn't catch the ball tonight. Not that it mattered, because anyone that's seen the Vikings lousy defense knows they would of let Seattle score if Seattle really had to.

Mike Tice has done a horrible job, and was obviously only hired because McCombs was cheap, and Tice has one of the lowest salaries in the NFL.

Any Viking loss is a good loss

I guess that's why he's apologized to everyone BUT the traffic cop he dragged. And as long as it's not a Michael Irvin at Philly scenario, the fans can do whatever the hell they want (except for throwing booze onto the field, or some other stupid activity).

Whatever...

Moss has to catch the ball to be a factor! He was thrown to 15+ times (acorrding to ESPN's graphic), yet he had 4(?) catches. In the 3rd quarter alone, he dropped a total of 4 balls in the endzone (on three endzone drives), all of which those drives resulted in zero points.

But I agree with you on the Viking's lousy defense. At this point, they can't even prevent Coach Holmgren himself from scoring a TD.

I'm a fan of Moss' game, but any loss that brings Culpepper closer to beating the crap out of Moss on-field, is a good loss indeed.

On a serious note, who would've been your choice for coach if they could've had anybody to pick from? I think going for Marvin Lewis might've been a good idea, but I don't see how anyone can motivate Bennett or Moss to play to their real potential.

Right know Marvin Lewis loooks better than Mike Tice. It's too early to say if Tice will be a failure or not. The defense sucks but I don't have any doubts that Tice was hired because Red McCombs wants to sell the team and didn't wanna take in a large coaching salary. Which is why Bryant McKinnie won't be signed.
