Sunday Sept 29-Beaumont, Texas- Montagne Center

Est: 2000 of a 10,000 seat arena

 

6-man tag

D'Lo Brown, Johnny Stamboli, Mark Jindrak defeated Justin Credible, Steven Richards, & Raven when D'Lo pinned Raven.

ECW chants.

 

Test defeated Randy Orton

Horrilble match, Orton carried Test.

 

Big Show defeated Tommy Dreamer-Show was to kiss Dreamer's ass if he didnt pin him in 10 mins. Show pinned him in 9:51 (according to Howard Finkel)

Lots of Heat for Show. Dreamer drank spectator's beer and at some nachos during the match. ECW chants.

 

Rosie & Jamal with Rico defeated Goldust & Spike Dudley

Very good match. Lots of heat for Rico.

 

RVD defeated Ric Flair - Best Match of the Night

Flair was in classic mode, getting on the mic and making fun of all the fat women in the crowd.

 

Divas match-

Trish Stratus & Jackie defeated Victoria & Molly Holly - pretty decent. Trish took a lot of bumps and showed a lot of flesh along with Molly.

 

Tag Team Title Match

Kane & Hurricane defeated Lance Storm & Christian

Very short match. Christian took huge heat, as when he did in January when he was here. Dont see Kane/Cane champs too long, but they are VERY popular.

 

Intercontinental Title

Chris Jericho defeated Booker T - very good match

Ton of "FOZZY SUCKS" chants. Booker T has improved so much. Should get a push. Major face!

 

World Title

HHH defeated Bubba Ray Dudley via Ric Flair interferring whil Hebner was knocked out. Bubba was booed the entire match as soon as he walked out. He knew it and tried to play a face, but didnt work. Triple H is the best worker in the company.

 

Notes-Very good card. No crowd at all. Dont know why, maybe because Sunday night and tickets were pricey! (45 bucks for ringside). Crowd was into every match. Two girls would make out every time a wrestler would come around the ring shaking hands and got a lot of attention(we call them SLUMP-BUSTERS in the sporting world).

 

I dont anticipate WWE coming back to Beaumont anytime soon.
