Guest Kagato Otaku Report post Posted October 3, 2002 While its true those shows are done for tv, and its production may not be as good, pokemon has a bigger budget then Transformers 1 did, even when you scale in inflation, it still sucks the dogs dick in comparison animation wise. Bah. The new Rhino Transformers DVDs are digital remasters. The original eps are not very good at all, quality wise. Stilted animation, bleeding colors and characters drawn in incorrect inks. And not that it's vital to the argument, but Transformers was animated in Japan. Scripted here, drawn there. So it's not anime, but not a totally American creation. Dig? bad anime porn, how much of it does exist, im curious as one of my old roomies had like 50 dvds of it and a few gigs on his computer. I was wondering when hentai would worm its way into the conversation. But there's a lot of it. There's a lot of porn here too. I wouldn't condemn it as bad, but I won't be adding "Demon Tentacle Ass-Rapers" to my anime checklist either. *note* - "Demon Tentacle Ass-Rapers" does not exist...yet. Anime like comic books usually follow a stadard plot of guy, girl, and gun, i dont find that entertaining. Get with the times. Nowadays it's a guy, a girl, and a mecha inhabited by the boy's dead mother's soul, created to help bring forth armageddon.
Guest Kagato Otaku Report post Posted October 3, 2002 The dominating Disney theme is the protagonist's parents being knocked off (particularly the mother), the hero being sad and singing songs for the next thirty minutes, meeting a nice boy/girl and wacky sidekick, coming across the "evil villain", saving the day, and finding the value of their own self-worth. And then more songs.
Guest cynicalprofit Report post Posted October 4, 2002 I havent seen the new new transformers...so i cant comment. Then new transformers i saw looked like a really bad anime, i turned it off after 5 minutes. It may have been animated in japan, but i was under the impression that the characters and model sheets were drawn by american artist. Thats how it was told to me. The anime porn that i did sit through was bad, there was a vaginal licking which consisted of 3 cells moving the tounge back and forth and a clit getting slowly bigger. Nothing else moved, not even the girls eye lids...bad. I havent got with the times because i dont like anime. Actually i thought disneys main theme was revisionist history with includes changing history and rewriting classic stories to have happy endings. I respect disney, doesnt mean i like what they do. Guest Ravenbomb Report post Posted October 5, 2002 I have yet to meet an anime fan who isnt obessive, who doesnt own a collection of videos or dvds, i havent met one. Hi, I'm Ravenbomb, I don't believe we've met. If someone is an anime fan, why wouldn't they have a collection of dvd's or videos? Maybe there are a lot of movies that they like that are anime... And then more songs. Not enough songs in that summery to be a Disney movie, and don't forget the pet/animal thing. There's always a pet/animal thing. Although sometimes the wacky sidekick is the pet/animal thing.

Guest cynicalprofit Report post Posted October 5, 2002 Yes, but usually the collection is like large...it cant be like 5 tapes, it always tends to be japanese imports and stuff so special only 500 ppl know how cool it is, and other stuff like that.
Guest Ravenbomb Report post Posted October 5, 2002 unless they get obsessive about it or go out of their way to say how rare their crap is ("oh, hey, you bumped into my Neo Robot DVD from Japan that cost $300, which is like ¥100000000" even though you're on the opposite side of the room from whatever the hell they're talking about) there's nothing wrong with that
Guest Kagato Otaku Report post Posted October 5, 2002 If this thread had form I'd bludgeon it to death with a railroad spike. Yes, but usually the collection is like large...it cant be like 5 tapes Collections are generally five tapes or more. Elsewise they can't rightly be called collections. it always tends to be japanese imports and stuff so special only 500 ppl know how cool it is, and other stuff like that.
