Guest MrRant Report post Posted September 30, 2002 Texas Man Charged for Using Stungun on Stepson Moody, a stay-at-home father who quit his job as a truck driver this year, allegedly walked behind the child all the way to school on Monday and zapped him with the stun gun. "The belt didn't work; this did. It hurts much less than the belt. I've whipped his ass so hard that it left marks. That just didn't send the message and this did," he told the paper. Clad in a sleeveless T-shirt, two-tone sunglasses and a cap that read "Marriage: the Leading Cause of Divorce," Moody appeared on TV news shows holding a stun gun he purchased after police took the original one and a paddle he said he used on the boy so much that it cracked. Investigators were delighted with his comments. "He's pretty well used the right of free speech here, didn't he? The news media helped and awful lot on this one," said Henson. Un-fucking believable. Both parents should get time in prison or have to test car batteries with their nipples. MrRant, Thinks parent's should have to test car batteries.

Guest Kagato Otaku Report post Posted September 30, 2002 Here's a bit more from an article in Thursday's Houston Chronicle. Moody, who moved here several years ago from New York, said he told his stepson that if he missed his school bus again he would have to walk to school, although it is several miles. "So we went for a walk and every time he slowed down, I hit him in the ass with (the stun gun)." He said he had acquired the Panther 100 recently in exchange for a pack of cigarettes. He tested it on himself, his wife and a neighbor before using it on the boy, Moody said. Moody said his wife drove him and the boy the rest of the way to school after they had walked a mile and a half and the boy grew tired. Adkins, the sheriff's captain, said the mother told officers that she does not consider stun-gun jolts a harsh punishment. "It's not abuse," he (Moody) said. "The instructions say it can not cause permanent damage. My definition of abuse is some kind of permanent damage, whether it be physical or mental." I'm sure getting jolted with electric shocks for one and half miles will make for a well-balanced and healthy child, Mr. Moody. Ass.
Guest DrTom Report post Posted September 30, 2002 I really wish there were some kind of competency test people had to pass before they could breed. You have to take a course and pass a test to drive a car, but a hardon and a willing hole can make a kid. Sometimes, that fact makes me sick. I know we could never do anything like that, but it would weed wastes of sperm and egg like two first-class fuckups out of the gene pool. No permanent damage indeed. Guest Agent of Oblivion Report post Posted September 30, 2002 They should have their kids taken away, then the mother and stepdad should be sterilized and thrown in prison. I have absolutely no fucking use for some worthless shit that can't even drive his kid to school when he missed the bus. The kid is eight fucking years old, he doesn't deserve to be shocked with a goddamn stungun by some out of work trucker. I could kill people like that. With no remorse. Guest MrRant Report post Posted September 30, 2002 With no remorse. I wouldn't even blink before pulling the trigger.
Guest danielisthor Report post Posted September 30, 2002 i think i might be the only one to find any humor in this. How old was this kid? hell, if he's in High School, i doubt there would be any mental issues. Hell as Calvin's father would say, "builds character". Bet he's not late for the school bus anymore. Though i will say its a tad extreme, but hell if the belt and paddle didn't work............
Guest EricMM Report post Posted September 30, 2002 the kid was 8... fuck the paddle, belt, and the stungun. If someone can't raise a good kid without hitting the kid, they're wrong.
Guest Cancer Marney Report post Posted September 30, 2002 Exactly. If you have to make your child fear you to get his or her respect, you shouldn't have children.
Guest papacita Report post Posted September 30, 2002 fuck the paddle, belt, and the stungun. If someone can't raise a good kid without hitting the kid, they're wrong. I disagree with that. The guy is out of line to use a stungun, but some kids just need a good ass whoopin. I don't mean that an adult should just be able to take out his/her frustrations on a child anytime they want to, but to say a parent is automatically wrong for spanking their children when they misbehave is a little much. Guest Retro Rob Report post Posted September 30, 2002 Instead of spanking a child, why not learn how to communicate with them? In the end, that is the best route to take with kids.
Guest Agent of Oblivion Report post Posted September 30, 2002 I agree, but a spanking is called for some times. My dad gave me a whippin' only one time when I was growing up, and that was for playing with matches.
Guest Kotzenjunge Report post Posted September 30, 2002 I advocate some whoopin' for kids also, considering I never got any, and I'm really dissatisfied with how I turned out. I could have used a LOT. Fortunately, my humor managed to save me from many potential beatings. You read the article yet, RetroRob? Guest papacita Report post Posted September 30, 2002 Edit: Um...what Agent of Oblivion said. As for me, I'm a goody two-shoes, but I got a couple of spankings when I was little.

Guest Youth N Asia Report post Posted September 30, 2002 "The belt didn't work; this did. It hurts much less than the belt And he knows this as a fact? I'd wager that a friggin stun gun would sting a little harder...not to mention the longterm damage that could be done with it. Spanking if done when needed is a perfectly acceptable form of punishment...but only when it's a last resort
Guest Sandman9000 Report post Posted September 30, 2002 If you feel the need to physically discipline your child, at least use your hands. No one should need to resort to using a weapon on a elementary schooler.
Guest danielisthor Report post Posted September 30, 2002 I can honestly say that i only back talked my father once. Ate his hand, learned my lesson and never did it again.
Guest CoreyLazarus416 Report post Posted September 30, 2002 I fucked up ONCE when I was young (like, 4 or 5), and my dad dope-slapped me for it. Needless to say, I don't fuck up anymore. I'm with the others that say a whoopin' does good when it's needed...but a stun gun? Rednecks like this make me want to sodomize people with cacti.
Guest Agent of Oblivion Report post Posted October 1, 2002 I never argued with my dad until I was around 15, then, hoo boy, look out.
Guest Human Fly Report post Posted October 1, 2002 I got a whoopin' many a time when I was a kid. It was never abusive or anything like that. I think there is nothing wrong with a spanking as long as it is not done out of rage.
Guest Kahran Ramsus Report post Posted October 1, 2002 There is a difference between a spanking and chasing a kid to school for something as trivial as missing the school bus.
Guest danielisthor Report post Posted October 1, 2002 I would agree with that. If i missed the bus, it was a 3mile hike to my high school or even worse from school to home. Normally that doesn't sound so bad except that i lived in South Florida where the heat and humidity killed you.
Guest Choken One Report post Posted October 5, 2002 Hmm...I had parents that were polar opposites for the Spanking issues...Mom against and dad all for it. I only got spanked about 2 times (5 and 8). However, my Aunt has a 4 year and Strongly advocates spanking but she has the decency to do it out of public. Stun Guning is funny when you stun your pal but not a 8 year old for missing a bus...I never rode the bus...I always got dropped off...
