Smackdown Getting Their Own Tag Titles

It could be a good idea. They need to have more tag teams though and not just teams of guys that tag for no reason like has been happening.

That's what I want to see happen. It would be good, since it would allow tag teams on Smackdown to actually compete for a title of their own. Plus, this would even further make RAW and Smackdown seperate brands. All they have to do is have the current Women's Champion appear on only one show, and have the other show get a new Women's Title specifically for that show.

I'm fine with it...just bring Storm and Christian back amongst the WRESTLERS and then all will be set. Let the gimmick teams fight on RAW.

I have to pimp the idea of a D'Lo/Benjamin tag team again(As faces).

 

I would also like to see them resign Joey Abs and Steve Bradley and have them form a heel tag team. I saw their MCW stuff and both guys seemed to have the wrestling and mic ability as well as the size to be stars.

I think it's a fucking stupid idea.

 

They don't even have enough teams for the one they have now without throwing a bunch of teams together. Why can't they just use the one they have now on both shows?

I agree. I can't wait for that awesome Henry/Rikishi vs. Cena/Batista match.

 

A tag tournament would have been a good idea when, i don't know, they had tag teams? But right now it's just going to lead to another craptacular night of WWE programming.

I think they need an I-C or US title a lot more than they need Tag Belts.

I think they could use a singles title more than tag titles, but if they're still going with the split, I agree with the move. The problem is, where are the teams? Billy and Chuck, who else. I guess it's a good vehicle to bring guys up.

Well, according to this thread, they want to build the division around Rey/Edge, Angle/Benoit, and Eddy/Chavo.

 

I'll leave it to you to figure out the inherent problems contained therein.
