I'm starting to REALLY like DJ Jeffs banners (before i thought they were preety good), but the only thing he still has a prob with is the text, other than that I think they'll be ok

Why in hell must you stretch every picture? I'm sure you could avoid it.. do you do it on purpose?

 

Your quality would shoot up if you didn't stretch the pictures...

My question is, when we give you suggestions, why do you not take them into consideration. We're always telling you that the text looks bad, but you always make it look even worse in the next picture. What's the point of asking for feedback if you make the same mistake over and over and over...

I go by what I think looks good, that's all I can really do. Once I post it, I always get different opinions on my banners. Yeah, I'm not the greatest banner maker, and I probably never will be, but still. I'm doing this just for fun.

So, what I'm hearing is, you don't want to get better. We always tell you the same thing, and you still make the same mistake. LEARN dammit, LEARN!

Criticism:

- Very obvious stretching jobs and they turned out very grainy.

- From a design perspective, the graphics aren't balanced at all. The background doesn't help matters much.

- You used a retina burning version of the lens flare, for which you should die. On top of that, it killed the top of the T and makes it look like "GADGEI".

- On the plus side, it *IS* Inspector Gadget.

 

Mercifully, I'll give you a 3 out of 10.

 

However, I do dig your Desire banner very much for which I shall give you an 8.5/10, docking you points for the slight stretching problems.

 

EDIT: Might as well say the same about the Lita banner except it gets docked to 7.5 because the grainy look of one of the prominent pictures and more apparent stretching problems...and I don't like Lita that much. BIAS~!

Of course I want to get better. I'm just beginning to think that, well, some people can just make awesome banners, not me, and some people can't, me.

Streched pics, text is hard to read, background makes it worse, and needs more color. 3/10
