Guest MrRant Posted October 1, 2002 Report Posted October 1, 2002 No, he wants a catfight between two cute hardbodies.
Guest Spaceman Spiff Posted October 1, 2002 Report Posted October 1, 2002 Uhhhh, I don't know what you're talking about ::shifty eyes::
Guest Cancer Marney Posted October 1, 2002 Report Posted October 1, 2002 Anyway, the whole backtracking doubletalk about being "pigeonholed" as an "ultra-conservative lesbian" is the purest nonsense. As if that's any kind of stereotype. It simply doesn't exist: people find me remarkable precisely because of the unusual combination of my sexual orientation and my political views, and stereotypes are usually based on more than one person in a million. And as if "ultra-conservative" has ever meant "frigid." Conservative means Republican, and homosexuals, whether male or female, are overwhelmingly Democratic and liberal. "Liberal lesbian" is almost redundant; it sounds silly to say it. No one would ever say "conservative lesbian" to indicate anything other than political affiliation. The target of that unprovoked, spiteful, and petty comment was blindingly obvious. I just don't care anymore. The only thing MrRant and Eric demonstrated with their nominal clarifications was that they have potential as politicians. The ability to spew sanctimonious bullshit and dishonestly justify and sanitise stupid personal attacks should come in handy.
Guest Kotzenjunge Posted October 2, 2002 Report Posted October 2, 2002 Do I have potential? (holds up shield) Kotzenjunge Ready for the Barrage
Guest Kotzenjunge Posted October 2, 2002 Report Posted October 2, 2002 (throws shield away) Woohoo! (fashions a petition for James Island City Council) Kotzenjunge Maybe Spoon is a Marketable Name After All
Guest Cancer Marney Posted October 2, 2002 Report Posted October 2, 2002 It wouldn't be my first choice if I were trying to get you elected... what's your middle name?
Guest Kotzenjunge Posted October 2, 2002 Report Posted October 2, 2002 Possibly the most common male middle name: James. Kotzenjunge Might Have to Use the Bland Name Instead
Guest Cancer Marney Posted October 2, 2002 Report Posted October 2, 2002 Absolutely. I could get a Patrick James elected in my sleep.
Guest Kotzenjunge Posted October 2, 2002 Report Posted October 2, 2002 But you wouldn't be trying to get me elected, since you're all "I'm a big bad Republican! RAWR!" and stuff. Seriously, I doubt a person like yourself and I could work on anything together, we'd end up strangling each other. Kotzenjunge Doesn't Want Homicide on his Record
Guest Cancer Marney Posted October 2, 2002 Report Posted October 2, 2002 Oh, I didn't say I'd do it, I just said I could, and it'd be much, much easier using "James" instead of "Spoon."

Think before you speak and ask for clarification before such wide-ranging remarks. Those are her words and not mine.
Guest Cancer Marney Posted October 2, 2002 Report Posted October 2, 2002 that was what I got from what she was saying. Think before you speak Think before you overinterpret and prettify, and if you want to publish random personal attacks on your site at least try to have the bare minimum of courage to admit it. I've already tried your brand of "clarification," thanks, and its bland hypocrisy and/or blind stupidity bores me. You can keep it.
Guest MrRant Posted October 2, 2002 Report Posted October 2, 2002 They are allowed to post what they will and when I read it and thought that was a rant against men personally. I don't agree with that classification that you stated as I have a few conservative friends that happen to be gay/lesbian. I am also not trying to justify anything because I don't care if your panties are in a bunch because of a comment that may or may not be associated with you. I just happened to give my opinion on the subject and if you wish to disrespect my opinion then very well.
Guest Cancer Marney Posted October 2, 2002 Report Posted October 2, 2002 Your opinion was wrong. Referring to me: ^ leaving in a month??? *cry* Referring to papacita05: ^ doesn't share the same sentiments with me concerning Marney's departure Link to page I don't agree with that classification that you stated as I have a few conservative friends that happen to be gay/lesbian.As a group homosexuals are NOT conservative. Your conservative homosexual friends are irrelevant exceptions. They do not exist as a stereotype. I am also not trying to justify anything because I don't care if your panties are in a bunchI never imagined for a moment that you gave a damn about me, and, as I said, my panties aren't in a bunch because now that I'm sober I'm no longer upset. You were probably trying to deny the attack simply because you're a coward and a twit. As is she. Whining about being judged by her body? Bitching about male attitudes? Cry me a fucking river. It goes the other way too, and I'd much rather be a Phyllis Schlafly than an Andrea Dworkin sniffling about being "objectified" by the oh-so-evil patriarchy. If you aren't taken seriously, there's probably a good reason for it. Stop writing pity-party "rants" and go do something with your life.
Guest DrTom Posted October 2, 2002 Report Posted October 2, 2002 Take it to NHB, you two (or three), if you want to continue this.
