why did they keep advertising football?

OK RAW sucked big time... HHH is still the worlds biggest jackoff ever.. anyway the even sadder part about raw was the fact that they mentioned that football was on.. EVERY FIVE SECONDS! Do they want people to change the channel!?! Is Vince really that stupid? and if the ratings drop.. they will blame Jericho and Kane... but yet they would bring up that football is on every two seconds!?!! ARGHH!! Too much stupidity for one night.

I guess they figure that they are "better" than football this week, and wanted to remind us to keep tuned to this Raw. Unfortunately, Raw was terrible, and probably lost more viewers. I know I will be watching MNF next week, as my fantasy league game will most likely be on the line as I have Favre and Longwell starting. I am sure GB-Chicago will be better than whatever they show on Raw next week anyway.

the Gimmick Wheel of Low Ratings is not good enough for me to watch Raw. There better be a Hell in the Cell match but the gimmick match will most likely be a Tampon on a pole match

Bear vs Packers is going to be a great game

When Bischoff made the football reference at the beginning of the show, I was reminded about the game. Then Lita talked, and I changed the channel. Bad idea there, WWE.

I think you answered your own question man, STUPID!!!

for some reason, Vince wants to whip out his dick on live tv and say "It's bigger than the NFL's!!! XFL kicked ASS!" Only problem is football blows away Raw, Raw loses tons of viewers to the game (that's kind of a pun, HA!), and then loses more as football continues and Raw blows. Not to mention JR won't let you forget about football for more than 2 seconds between "There's no halftime on Raw" and "...played tackle for the Badgers in college ball."

"You won't see anything like this in football! No sir! In that so-called sport good workers actually win games, and past their prime old guys can't hold down the new talent!"

What was hilarious was when they were talking about theres no timeouts and no halftimes in the WWE, when they had just gotten back from a commercial break in the middle of the main event.

Yeah, I was laughing at that too. How could they not notice how stupid that made them sound?

True, but if XFL succeeded they'd probably figure out a way to fix it, and then the winner of the "million dollar game" would have been decided via gangbang with Stephanie.

Would it be wrong to say I'd like to see that?

*shot of Steph with her ankles behind her ears, moaning*

"Competing to win over Stephanie McMahon! They mustn't just be out for themselves, but for their whole team. The Extreme! The Hitmen! Stephanie McMahon! LIVE on Pay Per View--only $49.99!!"

WARNING!! Scroll down....this next part may go too far...

Last night on RAW, they said the words "Monday Night Football" more than the broadcast team did on ABC.

Fucking pathetic.

I would've thought Vince learned from the last time he tried to compete with the NFL.

I hope they lost a lot of viewers for being so stupid. I didn't think the show was that bad, I actually enjoyed it a bit, but they deserve to have ratings drop due to being morons. They advertised for their competition! GAH~!

It's wCw all over again. If they really wanted to go the full nine, Bischoff should:

• challenge the Patriots to a 1-on-1 confrontation, and then claim to be Super Bowl champ when they no-show

• claim that Donovan McNabb can't put asses in the seats

• hire Dennis Miller and claim he planted him on MNF to lower the ratings

• produce Al Michaels' Football Warroom skits

Unfortunately, he can't

• give away the endings of the football games

• make fun of MNF being a repeat

• counterprogram with hot crusierweight action

• put on a crap-free show

Don't even get me started on the Wheel of Bischoff...

The game last night was awesome, but I would have watched it regardless being a deprived Ravens fan. Bischoff should realize however that Football is over by the time RAW airs on the West Coast. Hearing Lawler and JR go on and on about there being no halftime on RAW at 1:30 am was funny.

I'm still shocked that Vince wasn't on TV Monday talking about ex XFL "superstar" Tommy "Fourth Chance" Maddox leading the Steelers to victory Sunday.

Also what was with them shamelessly plugging David Carr to such a large degree? I was half expecting him to appear in the ring during the main event taking out Kane with a chair then challenging HHH to a match.
