I Hope Raw Gets It's Lowest Rating Ever

The wrestling and angles are decent, but the booking continues to be horrendous. Who the fuck booked Booker T, supposedly a rising star, to job in his home town? They even put fucking Bradshaw over against Lesnar in his hometown. They take D'lo off color commentary on Heat and he still isn't on Raw. Jericho was made to look pathetic by not even being able to beat Kane with interference. Randy Orton goes over two guys in a row. They wouldn't shut up about Monday Night Football and every other show that comes on, which just made me want to turn to those shows. Noone ever gets elevated on this show, but HHH it seems. He gets to look cool in all of his segments and go over everybody clean even though he is supposedly a heel. It doesn't help that they are getting rid of the IC title, which has so much history to it. I'm seriously thinking about not watching Raw next week and I've watched it every week since it started in 1993.

I have to agree. The wrestling was fine, and other than the Hardy vs. Show match (I didn't see HHH vs. Bubba) it was fun to watch in the ring the whole time. But yeah...booking was bad. Wrong people went over, and Kane vs. HHH at No Mercy?! And the IC title to disappear?! What the hell?!

 

Ugh..stupid booking...stupid, stupid. However, at least HHH was kept off most of the show unlike 2 weeks ago and before, but booking everything to serve him the best way possible is a lousy decision.

It shows a lack of long term planning by putting the tag titles on Kane one week, then having him win another major title the next while his newly arrived partner jobs on heat. It make no sense at all. And why is Jericho being shunted down the card? Why are the UnAmericans being utterly humiliated? Where has RVD's program with Triple and Flair gone?

I must be the only one that thought RAW was good. To be honest, this is probably the best RAW I've seen in a few weeks at least. By the looks of it, next weeks RAW should be good as well, I just hope they don't fuck it up somehow.

Man.....nobody wanted to see HHH/Bubba at the PPV. So what do they do? They kill it. Good job! What do they replace it with? HHH/Kane....BOO! Nobody wants to see that either!

I don't think that the WWF understands that nobody wants to see these crappy matches with slow plodding guys.

Hey what was Jericho doing during his match? Sounded to me like he was getting over! They were chanting for him.

So Booker T.(who jobbed for NO reason), RVD(who seems to have been SCREWED in this whole deal), or even Jericho(who always gets screwed) would have been the perfect man to move on and BEAT HHH CLEANLY for the world title.

But no...we get that big slow dumbass vs. that smaller but somehow slower dumbass.

Oh and kill the IC title!? Who are the ad wizards that came up with this one!? I mean they could've kept the damn thing on Jericho and had him feud with Booker T. over it. But it apparently has to be sacrificed for the greater good(bad) of getting HHH and Kane over! Wow! That's some shit right there. Oh and what was the point of The Hurricane coming in!? So that Kane could have another title!?

DAMMIT! It all frustrates me so much!

I'm used to RAW being boring and revolving around the greatness that is Triple H. But I cannot believe how badly they treated ALL their so called "rising stars" in one night.

 

Booker T - not only did he get jobbed out to the Fat Samoans in his home town, but Fat Samoan #1 got to kick out of his finisher because Fat Samoan #2 couldn't waddle through the ropes fast enough to make the save. And wouldn't it have made perfect sense to have Booker T run out at the end and help Kane? Jericho would then blame Booker for costing him his shot in the main event and they could have a hot feud. Booker would also get the big pop by making the save in his hometown.

 

Chris Jericho - he gets to play Triple H's set-up man again. Love how Triple H and Flair help Jericho because he's less of a threat to Triple H. And even with a 3 on 1, a chair and J.R. screaming about how Jericho can't beat Kane, Jericho still loses to Kane. And Kane is a such a top face that fans were chanting Y2J and cheering when Jericho kicked out of the nearfalls. Yet, they won't even put Jericho in Triple H's Horseman, even though he is the only one who can make Triple H skits entertaining.

 

Rob Van Dam - just completely buried. Not mentioned once until he comes out for his match. Doesn't get any interview time to talk about Flair or Triple H. Just plays a bit role in someone else's storyline. (i.e. Jericho most weeks.) And teams with Tommy Dreamer of all people. Hope everyone is looking forward to RVD jobbing to Bautista at Survivor Series. Looks like Triple H gets his way again.

 

UnAmericans - okay, their gimmick is not the greatest. But it did give all these guys a spot and they did get a lot of cheap heel heat. They are broken up over the course of two weeks without any real logic or direction. Does anyone think the WWE has even decided who will play the faces in this feud? But they had to go. Gotta make room for Triple H's 4 Hossman group. Kind of like how Jericho's Candian Horseman got the boot when the NWO was signed.

 

Bubba Dudley - okay, he does not really belong but you almost feel sorry for him. He got the shaft. He went from main eventing a PPV to not even having a spot on the card. But the fact that the fans BOOED him during his promo against Triple H says it all.

 

RAW may have been a more entertaining show over all than some of the recent efforts but they're still pushing Triple H and the Hosses at the expense of the characters that fans actually care about.

Oh good grief, Raw never got a 1.0 or anything close to it. When they debuted on USA in 1993 they got a 3.3 rating for that year.

Booker isn't a WWE homegrown hoss, so he will never get the push someone from OVW will get. He will be midcard until he retires. I think HHH is telling Steph to bury him too. There is no other possible explanation why he would job last night instead of Goldust if they wanted to put the Island Boys over. Booker always jobs and he never gets his own angle.
