Guest nikowwf Report post Posted October 1, 2002 I heard on the law and various other places about the new Horseman featuring HHH, Flair, Randy Orton & Batista. What do you think? Niko
Guest notJames Report post Posted October 1, 2002 No. The Horsemen are dead. All attempts to resurrect them simply throw more dirt on the coffin, like digging sand at high tide. I want to remember them as they once were, not by how pathetic a 21st Century watered-down version they might become. Didn't Mongo and Paul Roma do enough damage?!? Guest Midnight Express83 Report post Posted October 1, 2002 Horsemen are DEAD. Let the group rest in peace. There will never be another group of horsemen. Its like WCW, ECW, nWo. It will work for a week for the shock value of the name again. But will die because NOBODY WILL GIVE A FUCKING RATS ASS ABOUT THEM!
Guest tominator89 Report post Posted October 1, 2002 I honestly wouldn't mind a heel stable, but not with these members.

Guest Kahran Ramsus Report post Posted October 1, 2002 I could live if it was Brock Lesnar, Chris Benoit, Eddy Guerrero & Chavo Guerrero, with Paul Heyman as JJ Dillon, but other than that it will just another crap stable.
Guest oldschoolwrestling Report post Posted October 1, 2002 As of last night it might be: HHH Y2J Ric Flair and a player to be named later. I would see it being like the UnAmericans. A month or two after it starts, they're fighting each other.

Guest converge241 Report post Posted October 1, 2002 I heard about Flair, HHH, and Orton in the Obs. but didnt hear anyhting about Batista yet. I agree with the sentiment of Heel stable =yes name horsemen = no i mean a real stable, just together because they are like minded assholes, not a makeshift gimmick one like the UA
Guest Boseephus Jones Report post Posted October 1, 2002 I had an idea a while back where it looked like Arn was turning on Flair. This was when Flair jobbed to Lesnar. It would see Arn starting a Rouge 4 Horsemen group without Flair. It would have Lesnar and a couple of others. But thats done with. But, now with HHH they have the chance to do something new. I think Flair should be manager as he has no business in the ring, as much as I like him. HHH is perfect, old school and all that. They can't have two main eventers. So, as much as I like Y2J, I don't think he should be pushed down anymore, as he would be if he was HHH's second. I think the perfect second would be Eddy, I know he is popular, but he don't need to be rushed. A 6 month to 1 year run with the new Horsemen would be pefect as an upper-midcarder, then a break-up feud with HHH with send him to the upper-echelon. Now, the last two are harder. A lot would say it would need to be a tag team. I think Billy and "Chuck would be decent, and not just because they're the only tag team around for the most part (excluding Ros and Jam). It would be a great situation for them to totally shed the gay persona. But, it would kill their face turn, and quick turns always result in taking character away from wrestlers. They also don't necessarily need a tag team. I think Taz would be great (hear me out here). No matter how many times he would get squashed, or how long he announced, he would always get a little pop. I remember when he stood up to Austin in the Alliance and he get a really big pop.....then he got squashed next week. But, he was someone people always WANTED to root for, but they were never given the chance (kinda like DDP). He's suplex gimmick would be perfect for the 4-Horsemen persona, as they are supposed to be superior wrestlers. Lance Storm would be a good choice too. Good wrestling and decent promos. Same goes for Christian, even though his promos are even better. But, I can't see how anybody would disagree with a Horseman reunion. I think it would give RAW the fresh shot in the arm it needs. Guest converge241 Report post Posted October 1, 2002 I love the horsemen, but enough with the rehashing old concepts. It just doesnt work. They would screw it up. And a horsemen with Flair as second fiddle? i dont think so.
Guest notJames Report post Posted October 1, 2002 But, I can't see how anybody would disagree with a Horseman reunion. I think it would give RAW the fresh shot in the arm it needs. I think those two ideas are mutually exclusive... how can an old rehashed bit be considered a fresh shot in the arm?
Guest Boseephus Jones Report post Posted October 1, 2002 Good call. It's not a reunion, so much as a reformation. My mistake. But it would be fresh. It's not like bringing back DX or the like. This is an idea new to the WWF and it's something that doesn't get tired. It's a very basic idea, (not like DX who relied on sophmoric humor which got old in time) that has the potential to be used on a long term basis. But, knowing the WWF, they'll just screw it up. So I probably shouldn't look forward to a reformation.

LaParkaYourCar 0 Report post Posted October 2, 2002 If HHH is involved in the new Four Horsemen then forget it! Flair, Jericho, Benoit, and Eddy Guerrero would be awesome. If they're going to make a heel stable they need a new name. How about "House of Pain"? Okay it sucks, but I'm trying to think of one.
Guest evenflowDDT Report post Posted October 2, 2002 Let's see... Flair has lost much of his flair and "rub", although I do like the idea of him and HHH being a "Two Man Power Trip" sort of dynamic duo. Orton just doesn't have the personality or skills to be a part of that group, even a watered down version. Batista, as far as I know, is still on Smackdown in a dead-end feud with Reverend D-Von. So no, I don't think this will be a good idea at all.
Guest Trivia247 Report post Posted October 2, 2002 Horsemen was a great concept originally, but it was raped and used and crapped on over the years with the Paul Roma's and Steve McMichaels that dirtied the stable name by being apart of it. There isn't any luster left in the Horsemen name, unless you want to play in "Horsemen" Country.
Guest El Satanico Report post Posted October 2, 2002 no no no nooooooo Heel stable = yay Pissing on the Horsemen legacy more = boooo
Guest midnight_burn Report post Posted October 2, 2002 Maybe the WWE should, you know, come up with a NEW stable, instead of rehashing every old stable there has ever been. It's probably only a matter of time before the Nation of Domination makes a comeback as well.
Guest FeArHaVoC Report post Posted October 2, 2002 The scary part of this Horsemen rumor is RVD has been depushed. Would they dare be stupid enough to try to swerve us? I can picture someone having a "Bright" idea (Hunter) to get RVD to turn "Heel" and join Flair, Hunter & Jericho. <Hunter> Well since Rob proved he's not talented or smart enough to be a Main event player, there is no reason for him to be mid-carding and getting Monster POPS. Why not swerve everyone and put RVD with us? <Steph> Good idea Honey. <Heyman> We still need some over Babyfaces for Raw. <Hunter> We still have Kane, and Bradshaw will be back soon enough. <Heyman> We still have Booker T also <Triple H & Steph look at each> HAHAHAHAHAHAHAAHAHAHAHA <Hunter> Booker isn't over or ready yet for that position. <Steph> No, No he's not. <Heyman shakes his head and walks out>
