Guest The Notorious CRD Report post Posted October 1, 2002 The action returns live on Pay Per View this Wednesday night, with the stars of NWA Total Nonstop Action! In what will be one of the most anticipated matches of the year, Jerry Lynn will finally face A.J. Styles one-on-one for the X-Division title in a ladder match. Can Lynn hold onto the X-Division title? Will A.J. regain the title he was never pinned for? He is now out of the Flying Elvises. Sonny Siaki is on his own this Wednesday night in singles action! He is simply amazing, and will be stepping into the ring against the popular Shark Boy! Check out the Amazing Red this Wednesday night! The NWA World Tag Team Titles will be on the line this Wednesday night as Cowboy James Storm and Wildcat Chris Harris try to continue their undefeated streak. They have agreed to give Ron Harris another title shot, but this time Harris says he has a new partner! Tune in this Wednesday to see who will leave with the NWA World Tag Team Titles! Last week, Low Ki helped Jerry Lynn defeat NWA World Champion Ron "The Truth" Killings. Since his loss, Killings has had a bulls-eye on Low Ki. So much in fact, he has agreed to put his NWA World Title on the line just to get him in the ring! This Wednesday night, can Killings remain NWA World Champion, or will the momentum continue for the amazing Low Ki? Two of TNA's best X-Division tag teams step into the ring, as you will see Yang and Estrada of the Flying Elvises take on the popular SATs! Last week, we went off the air with Jeff Jarrett, Elix Skipper, and Brian Lawler destroying Scott Hall, Syxx-Pac, and B.G. James in an all-out assault. They have demanded revenge, and they may get it as a six-man tag team match has been signed for this Wednesday night! It will be Skipper, Jarrett, and Lawler vs. Hall, Syxx-Pac, and B.G. James! All of this and more this Wednesday night, as NWA TNA returns for more Total Nonstop Action exclusively at 8pm Eastern, only on Pay Per View! Styles vs. Lynn: This should be the blowoff to to their feud that started way back in Week 2. The ladder stipulation is overkill IMO, but I guess they're hoping to capture lightning in a bottle again like they did with the triple ladder match. Red vs. Shark Boy: I'm looking forward to this. I think they can put on a good match and wow the crowd in the process. This would work great as a show opener. C. Harris/Storm vs. R. Harris/?: Why? Putting a big lunk like Ron Harris in the ring against the champs is something no one wants to see. The only redeeming factor might be the mystery partner if it's someone who can "go" with Chris and Storm. Low Ki vs. Ron Killings: I like the Killings vs. the X division storyline, and this should be a pretty good match. With Low Ki headed back to Japan soon (I think), don't look for him to go over. Skipper/Jarrett/Lawler vs. Syxx/James/Hall: They seem to be pushing both sides as viable partnerships, and while I don't have much faith that we'll get a clean finish, this should be an okay match. I say let Syxx and Skipper carry the bulk of the match to keep the crowd going, let Jarrett and Hall in to mix things up a bit, and keep Lawler and James to a bare minimum. So, there ya go. It looks like we'll get some great X division action, as usual, and we're finally getting some interesting heavyweight action with the six participants of the six-man match. Just as a reminder, NWA TNA is live on inDemand PPV (and other cable PPV distributors as wel now)Wednesdays at 8 P.M. EST.
Guest J*ingus Report post Posted October 1, 2002 The mystery partner is said to be Ashley "Aussie" Hudson, who you might remember as Ozzie from the "Daffney's mystery admirer" storyline. He's no X-Division spot machine, but he's a good worker, has a long history of working with both Storm and Harris, and takes the highest damn backdrop you've ever seen. The crowd is supposed to be excited for a mystery partner. It needs to be a well known guy (mystery partner Ricky Steamboat teaming with Dustin Rhodes against The Enforcers). Teaming this unknown with a Harris brother is going to make the crowd take a piss break, both in the arena and at home.
