CZW- I have to say this is one of the best indies.  The problem is though that most of their workers work at other Indy's (PWF, ECWA, JAPW)....Like the Briscoes used to, Backseat Boyz, and the team that wrestles every night of the week....The S.A.T..  That's why you can't go by indies sometimes.  Even though I think CZW puts on solid Shows.

 

 

NWA WILDSIDE- When haven't I pimped this fed?  Even if it didn't have "The most phenomanal athlete in sports entertainment today" AJ Styles.  It still would be amazing.

 

BCW- "That's D'Amore"  They do Toronto Shows...but I don't know where the "hometown" is.

BCW runs most of its shows in Winsor...they get a high % of their crowd from Michigan

Where does NWA Wildside run their shows? I saw AJ Styles on the WWA ppv the other night and the guy was awesome! does anyone know where I can get some Indy tapes or a website that discusses Indy wrestling?

sorry I took so long to respond but this board wasnt working for me last night. Ya I am the Homeless Kyle off of Crazy max. I live just outside Ottawa and would love to see a local indy fed. Do all the guys you mentioned sho up regularly? it sonds like a cool indy

I like ECWA in Delaware, and MCW in Maryland. Both are great indy hot beds on the East Coast. I also prefer the one in Hagerstown, MD called "NWL/HoPWF." It's a very small promotion, but it has a great wrestling feel to it. The shows are free on Tuesdays and Saturdays because the workers involved are still in training. So, you can't beat that. The workrate is all right, pretty much old school wrestling. Not too much lucha or puroresu involved. Classic "catch-as-catch-can" style.

 

However, my pick for best indy fed is going to be NWA East (Pro Wrestling eXpress) based in the Pittsburgh, PA area. Great wrestling action over there. I don't classify the NWA as an independent promotion since it's been around the longest in the states and it has territories like the one I just mentioned, and three very-well known promotions spawned from it (ECW, WCW, and WWF). A close second would be IPW from St. Petersburg, Florida. More hardocre than NWA East, but not too much like CZW in Jersey and IWA Mid-South in Indiana. I personally think IPW should be the next "NWA Florida" territory and recognize the NWA Florida titles, like NWA Wildside does.

  NWA Wildside is based out of Cornelia, GA (which I think is north of Atlanta, not sure). Their website (http://www.nwa-wildside.com) has two Best Of A.J. Styles tapes if you want to check them out.
