Guest Slapnuts00 Report post Posted October 2, 2002 <24. ‘Tell Me A Lie’ Shawn Michaels’ Farewell> I don't remember this? It was a horrid song that sung by some woman in a tribute music video to Shawn Michaels back in 96. It's on the Slammy Awards 96 video.
Guest Jobber of the Week Report post Posted October 2, 2002 Some of the people here bring truth to the industry's claims that piracy is hurting sales. Although I could make an exception for this as it has a WHOLE LOT OF TRACKS, when an album has 3 tracks I like on it, I get it. Just one? Bah, then I go P2P. The End was REALLY good for WWE music, but had just one verse. =/
LaParkaYourCar 0 Report post Posted October 2, 2002 I never remember hearing Rocket. Can I d/l it somewhere? It was the theme song that Owen used from 94-

Guest Michael Joel Benoit Report post Posted October 2, 2002 I'm getting the CD just for Deadly Game and Here Comes The Money. I downloaded both on Kaza but they are short and interrupted by annoucing so it'll be nice to hear the uncut CD versions of both songs. Cuz it's a deadly game. Definitely a reason why I'm getting this compilation. I want to hear a couple of the new WWE themes in CD quality. (Brock, Rey, UT, Shane to name a couple...) YES! "You Start The Fire!" What a great song for Bret, BTW. I remember this music video kicked mucho ass at the '96 Slammies.

Guest Dmann2000 Report post Posted October 3, 2002 If that first WWF signature is the music that played over the flying WWF logo and ended with the words "The WWF, What the world is watching" I'm going to scream like a little girl
Guest Boseephus Jones Report post Posted October 3, 2002 I'm guessing the signature track is going to be some variation on that little intro clip that plays before all WWE shows. Although I may not buy the anthology set, I'm pretty impressed with it to say the least. Usually when the WWF get the chance to do something cool or different they give us the least desirable product (ie. Live Wire and other shit that started off as a good idea). It doesn't include everything but rather a sampling of different areas. I hope they adopt this approach with DVDs now, as they have done with the Hulkster's DVD. They're past DVDs have sucked the big one, with a couple of exceptions (eg. some of the superstar ones like "Hard Knocks and Cheap Pops" and Wrestlemania 16 notably). They should put their old WCW archive to use (as they will NEVER release these old PPVs on DVD) and start putting on bonus classic matches on monthly PPVs so they become must have. Think about it, if the WWE have a shit PPV, they can improve DVD sales by putting on old WCW, NWA, or even WWF matches and clips that people would love to have on DVD. But, seeing how it is a good sensible idea and all, they probably won't do it.
Guest Boseephus Jones Report post Posted October 3, 2002 Oh, and by the way, Owen's music with the sirens in it, after he put out Austin was one of his best. Although I still love the Rocket.

Guest Kamui Report post Posted October 4, 2002 Hmmm, I'll get this just because I can't find my WWF Vol. 4 CD and I MUST have a clear, CD version of "My Time". That was the last great WWF-produced theme song ever (the lyrics and the overall song just fit his character then SO well, it's probably my favorite WWE theme song of all time). It was the same band that did the DX song I believe, anyone remember the name of it? Think it starts with Conneticut. The DX theme song is cool but I have my Vol. 3 already. Good thing I do, because if I didn't I'd be extremley pissed that they left off "The Rock Says" (the Vol. 3 Heel Rock song). Love that song, totally kills the face Rock theme (much like the heel Rock totally kills the face Rock, but I digress). The first disc I don't really give a shit about till it gets to the New Generation stuff, since that's when I got into wrestling, and HOLY FUCK "You Start the Fire" is on there! I used to have the tape of the '96 Slammies and that video of Bret ruled, been searching forever for a decent version of that song! Worth buying just for that. -Duo

Guest MarvinisaLunatic Report post Posted October 5, 2002 If I ever wanna hear "Here comes the money" I just put my X-8 GC game in and go to create a wrestler and the music and play it. Its a pretty decent version, and probably one of the coolest things about the game is that it you can listen to that song. 3500 WHOO!
