Well, like I said in the report, he's from a Gypsy culture, and apparently they dress like the Czech brothers - wild and crazy.

 

Clothes aside though, he looks pretty much like the Nightcrawler from the comics.

They just need to ditch Nightcrawler and go with Gambit, IMO. Much easier costume to do.

Gambit does NOT suck.. he had some of the best quotes in Fox's X-Men series.

 

Anyhow, I prefer Nightcrawler over Gambit anyways because.. well, I mark for Nightcrawler. Plus, Nocturne is hot.

Compared to Nightcrawler, Gambit bites the big one. Besides which, the entire "bad teef wit de 'art o' gole" has been done before. And don't get me started on the entire "third Summers brother" deal.

I like Gambit and all, but honestly he's the same basic character as Wolverine they just have different histories and powers. It would be pointless to have him AND Wolverine as major characters in the movie.

Gambit is my favorite member of the X-Men next to Wolverine for 2 simple reasons...

In the X-Men cartoon, Pyro was such a jobber mutant to me. Same with Avalanche and The Blob.

Nightcrawler looks better than I thought he could/would.

 

Off topic here, but can someone tell me what the deal is with the Sentinels in the X-Men 2 movie?

 

I've heard everything from how the Sentinels will be 30 feet tall to that they will be Mandroids which do not resemble their giant counter parts.
