Guest Perfect_Bo Report post Posted February 28, 2002 Ok, take it from a guy who LOVES rap 4,3,2,1... Original one from LL.. But, they both hit each other... Then.. Canibus - 2nd round KO.. Canibus hit him hard (99% of your fans wear high heels) That was raw.. LL-Cool Gay, I mean "J"- Came out with some sh*t call- Can-I-Bust and that other one from the reaper thing.. In Conclusion... Canibus killed him.. Bo
Guest Red Hot Thumbtack In The Eye Report post Posted February 28, 2002 That feud was weak. Nobody got killed.
Guest KOR420 Report post Posted February 28, 2002 I'd say corny bus got whooped because of that return of the ripper joint, but seriously both of these fags are weak
Guest Perfect_Bo Report post Posted February 28, 2002 I can honestly say that the fued between them two was weak... Why, because there was only a few tracks in it. But check this out.. I think Canibus is way better than LL in battling.. Why it only took one track by Canibus to hit on LL while it took 2 or 3 tracks from LL to hit Canibus.. Was it because the things that Canibus said were true and it's still on "L's" mind? An exclusive interview with Canibus had him saying this. "I already said what I had to say and most of the things that L spoke was bullsh*t and I had to address it. Why is he still rhyming about me? Well, because i'm still in his head, he can't take the truth and frankly I really dont give a f*ck. He aint the greatest of all time, he sucks d*ck and I want the whole world to know the truth." Now, that being sad, I think Canibus said all that he had to say in that interview and in that track. LL shouldnt say that he's the greatest because even his mother knows that's not true... If the fued with have gone longer than everybody would know that Canibus will eat him for a light snack. The fued should of been longer, that I agree. But to say that Canibus is weak, that's something I disagree. LL, he's weak, I dont like him, I think his rhymes are weak... He's not hardcore, thus, he shouldnt be rhyming anything that hard. Well, I spoke my part.. Bo
Guest YoMamma Report post Posted March 1, 2002 I like LL Cool J, i find his stuff good. Canibus is alright, i thought The Ripper Strikes Back was better then 2nd Round Knockout.
Guest pinnacleofallthingsmanly Report post Posted March 2, 2002 First song "4,3,2,1." Canibus asked LL to borrow the mic on his arm in his original verse. LL didn't like that, so he asked Canibus to take that out of his verse. LL then went last and dissed Canibus. Canibus Response: "Second Round KO." Canibus delivered this song and LL is still trying to come back from it. LL Response: "The Ripper Strikes Back." I don't know how anyone could compare this with Second Round KO and say LL won. LL Response: "Back Where I Belong." This song reeks of bullshit to me, but LL felt that it was neccesary to make another response to Second Round KO. Canibus Response: "Rip the Jacker." This wasn't as good as Second Round KO in my opinion, but it sums up the career of Canibus at the end of the song. He used the old LL Cool J beat from "I'm Bad," and the beat changes up to Second Round KO at the end. I guess that's his theme song now or something. I think Canibus dug in LL Cool J's ass, but I think that Second Round KO was the apex of his career. Listen to his new album (which is weak in my opinion) and you will hear him trying to syphon some of Eminem's popularity. He wants to battle Eminem now and call himself Stan. How lme can you get? I think Eminem could tear Canibus apart, but I doubt he will dignify Canibuses efforts with a response since he has no beef with him and Canibus is doing this to save his career. Guest Midnight Express83 Report post Posted March 3, 2002 Since LL has been against the grain in rap. "Ripper returns" was much better than "Second Round Knockout". In order: "4321" by LL, with LL going after Canibus. "Second Round Knockout" by by Canibus, good but not that great. "Ripper Returns" by LL, TKO win for LL. "Whats Clef Got to do with it" by Wyclef "Back where i belong" by LL uneeded and weak. "Rip the Jacker" by Canibus. weak and ver unneeded. LL won. the "99% of your fans where high heels" line isn't raw when LL raps love songs and all about women with respect. So taking a shot at him that Ice T did 9 years earlier doesn't work. Guest Shaved Bear Report post Posted March 3, 2002 didnt LL say 99% of your fans dont exist or something like that? anyway think about it...who really won the fued people i know that like rap, none of them ever talk about Canibus ever, but LL is mentioned sporadically
Guest Tomato Can Report post Posted March 3, 2002 So what? Ja Rule is all over the place these days. That don't mean he doesn't suck.
Guest El Hijo Del Lunatic Report post Posted March 4, 2002 How anybody can say that "The Ripper Strikes Back" was better than "Second Round KO" is beyond my understanding. You throw 64 bars together dissin' somebody without mentioning his name. LL couldn't come back from that shit; his rhymes are the lyrical equivalent of a cut-and-paste post on "Ripper". And that's part of the shit that Canibus got on LL about in Second Round KO. Outside of this feud, look at some of the utter bullshit they've both put out, especially LL. I mean, what is some of the shit these guys throw on soundtracks? "Deepest Bluest"? "Shut 'Em Down"? At least Canibus got a decent cut on the Office Space soundtrack. But I don't get Canibus ... he can throw together one really tight verse and then suck for his next 5 tracks. LL's prime really DID end 8 months before '99. G.O.A.T. wasn't anything to spooge over. Guest Perfect_Bo Report post Posted March 6, 2002 You know whats the thing about Canibus (My point of view) is that he cant rhyme without eatin someone's food... He's a battling rhymer, thus, he cant put out anything constructive that has nothing to do with eating someone's food.. That's just my point of view.. LL can suck my dick
Guest Tomato Can Report post Posted March 9, 2002 Canibus's second album was really good. The first one was a mixed bag and I've heard the last one really sucks. Get the second one if you wanna hear him at his best (of course also check out 2nd Round KO which has already been mentioned a hundred times on this thread). Guest One Bad Apple Report post Posted March 9, 2002 Now, that being sad, I think Canibus said all that he had to say in that interview and in that track. LL shouldnt say that he's the greatest because even his mother knows that's not true... I'll have you know LL's moms is on record saying her son is the GOAT. Muthafucka.
