Whats up with this flair/taker mania angle?

isn't the wwf smart enough to realize that this match would suck donkey balls?

I was just thinking about this, and maybe since taker is taunting flair for a match and flair is refusing, maybe flair will continue to hold out and instead bring someone up from the developemental territories.

Taker loosing for the first time at mania to a flair managed leviathan,Brock Lesnar,D-lo, or even David(hopefully not) would be a great wrestlemania moment.

Maybe Flair will even sign Sting!

You're right about this being a bad match

Sting is retired and needs to stay that way.

Just cross your fingers that we end up with Flair-Angle in some kind of convoluted storyline twist with Taker fighting Maven again or something.

I don't want to see Taker/Flair, but I think Flair could carry him to a watchable match.

I think we're stuck with Flair and Taker. And we'll probably have David Flair involved somehow. I can't see them giving a developmental guy his TV debut at the biggest show of the year. Would be cool though.

Seeing David Flair would not be cool. Man they hav some monsters down in OVw who aren't Flair's kids. You want to create a star, bring one of them in to wipe the mat with Flair or Taker. We'll see how much they love the business?

Flair is probably willing to put over young guys than any of the older guys in the WWF. David Flair probably gets beat up by Taker at Flair's home and isn't seen for a while or something.

I really hope that's the limit of his involvement. Unless he's improved drastically he shouldn't be near a WWF ring.

 

Random thought - maybe Vince will try and interfere, but it will backfire, letting Flair win and enabling UT to turn face and feud with the nWo?

I think Arn Anderson will help Flair win at WM. I don't see Vince doing anything in the match.

I'm disappointed in this matchup more than any other on the card.  Is anyone excited about Flair/Taker?  Even the Flair marks would rather see him not wrestle than do this, I imagine
