Guest HBK WILL ROT IN HELL Report post Posted February 28, 2002 I can never remember seeing how he wrestled how good was he and do you what happened to him.
Guest goodhelmet Report post Posted February 28, 2002 Janetty was talented and the Rockers matches were a great showcase for him and HBK. He had some great single matches against HBK but he succumbed to the drugs and alcohol and never recovered. He resurfaced in WCW for awhile but he lost a step and was stuck jobbing. I have no idea where he is now.
Guest Tony149 Report post Posted February 28, 2002 I used to think Janetty was more talented than HBK, but it turned out the other way due to Marty's problems. He wrestles in indys now.
Guest DEEP THOUGHT Report post Posted February 28, 2002 I've always thought that with his great wrestling ability, charisma and good looks that Marty Jannety would be a main eventer some day. But yes, drug and alcohol abuse have ways of ruining your carrer.
Guest Loss4Words Report post Posted February 28, 2002 Jannetty was a terrific worker. I'd say he was the better of the team until around 1989, when Shawn elevated his game and busted his ass. From then on, even when the Rockers had great matches, Shawn was the one carrying the team due to Jannetty's lack of focus. All I can say is that you REALLY must be living on the wild side when Shawn Michaels thinks you have a drug problem.
Guest dreamer420 Report post Posted February 28, 2002 Janetty was always my favorite Rocker. Â It's too bad about the drug use because he seems to be as talented as Michaels was back in the day.
Guest Drury37 Report post Posted March 1, 2002 Does anyone else but me think that Marty Jannetty looked like Wayne Cambell(Mike Myers)a bit!!!HAHA!!! Thanks.
Guest dreamer420 Report post Posted March 1, 2002 I guess he does look like him a little. Â I think it must be the hair. Â Does anyone know what Marty is up to these days? Â Hopefully still wrestling in the indies.
Guest Tony149 Report post Posted March 1, 2002 Marty did some work for WCW a while back. He still wrestles in indies.

Guest KOR420 Report post Posted March 1, 2002 He never really did any mic work either,he was like the quiet rocker I thought he was good but he wasn't as flamboyant as michaels his starpower wasn't there he was too plain but i found it rather funny when Al Snow was part of the new rockers or whatever lol leif cassidy
Guest Drury37 Report post Posted March 1, 2002 Yeah it was funny when Leif Cassidy(Al Snow)was part of the New Rockers.Word to the wise if a tag makes a good run don't try to bring them back with some new name that still has the old name in it.Such as the New Hart Foundation, the Rockers,L.O.D. 2000,ect.,ect... Thanks.
Guest Kahran Ramsus Report post Posted March 1, 2002 What about the Midnight Express? Â Stan Lane & Bobby Eaton weren't the original, but they were the best version of the team.
Guest Drury37 Report post Posted March 1, 2002 Yeah, but they weren't like the Midnight Express 2k(I know it was the 80's but I am just using it as an example)or something stupid like that!!! Thanks.
Guest Tony149 Report post Posted March 2, 2002 The Midnight Express may be the only tag team that was good after a new member. The New Midnight Express (Bart Gunn & Bob Holly) that were in the WWF were bad.
Guest Drury37 Report post Posted March 2, 2002 See Tony proved my point that yes maybe one good team came out of the Midnight Express but the New Midnight Express were horrible!!! Thanks.
Guest Kahran Ramsus Report post Posted March 2, 2002 The only other team that I can think of was Demolition Ver. 2 (Eadie & Darsow) which was by far the most successful of the three Demolitions.
Guest MoneyIvezaj Report post Posted March 3, 2002 I think me and my brother may be the only people in the world that like the new Midnight Express.
Guest areacode212 Report post Posted March 3, 2002 Nah, I secretly liked the new Midnight Express, too. Maybe if they had been given a different name (and cut better promos), they would have been cooler.
