From rohwrestling.com, via the czwfans.com board.

CZW endorses this Saturday's Ring Of Honor event & John Zandig and other members of the CZW roster will be there!!!

Combat Zone Wrestling endorses this Saturday's ROH show. In fact, John Zandig and other members of the CZW roster will be in attendance at the Murphy Recreation Center this Saturday night. What are they doing at the Ring Of Honor event? Be there this Saturday night at the Murphy Recreation Center off 4th and Oregon Ave. this Saturday night to find out!!!

XPW starts shit with CZW, XPW starts shit with ROH, ROH and CZW team up and drive XPW out of the east coast.

Sound good to anyone else?

While most people will agree that Rob is a bitch of a man, ROH does some good shit...and you gotta love CZW...plus XPW is a shitty product.

So I can support this.

Yeah...chopping the thumb off one of CZW's top stars is definatly not a way to start a fight...bah.

XPW is just not a good wrestling product...they were so anti ECW cause ECW was bigger then them...then they realize that their homegrown talent blows, so they dip into the former ECW roster. It's a shitty product.

Arg. CZW started with XPW a long time ago, they would rip on them on the shows and videos, and Zandig would hold up signs at shows that said "XPW SUX ASS!"

"XPW is just not a good wrestling product...they were so anti ECW cause ECW was bigger then them...then they realize that their homegrown talent blows, so they dip into the former ECW roster. It's a shitty product."

XPW was anti ECW when it 1st started out, but the truth is, so was CZW, but CZW fans manage to forget about that, and still give XPW shit about it.

I admit, XPW has had some shitty shows, but the last show was not shitty at all, the fans there loved it, and actually chanted "X P DUB" during the matches once they got into it.

As for the talent at the show, here is the talent that they used from ECW that was brand new to XPW:

Super Crazy, Chris Chetti, Guido, Dinero, Danny Doring.

these were XPW regulars that are not homegrown (meaning that they have wrestled in XPW for a while):

Psicosis, The Sandman, The New Panthers, Juventud Guerrera, Vic Grimes, Chris Hamrick.

these are the xpw homegrown wrestlers:

Pogo the Clown, Mexico's Most Wanted, Supreme, Angel, Altar Boy Luke, Kaos

and Funk and Douglas had only wreslted for XPW a could of times before, but it shows that XPW didn't dip into ecws talent roster, the 5 new wrestlers were from ecw, and the rest were wrestlers that had been in xpw for a while, and xpw homegrown talent

XPW sucks ass, only slightly less so than CZW. Why ROH is working with either one of them is lost on me -- the major appeal of ROH is workrate and clean finishes...what the hell do they need to cross-promote with garbage for? I would think the two fanbases are completely different...

RoH and CZW are way to different to work with each other. I don't think it will work out.....

I don't think ROH and CZW are "working together" so much as they're not trying to work against each other. Sort of like a non-aggression pact. They both have a view as it concerns XPW in their territory so it serves both of their interests to put aside differences until the XPW issue is resolved.

ROH isn't really worried about the work that's coming out of XPW. They're more worried about a loss of money from a small market. I'm sure we all can agree that XPW isn't a "workhorse" company, definitely not in the league of the ROH mainstays. However, the problem lies in the fact that a fan may only have certain discretionary income for stuff like indy wrestling and will drop the dough for XPW one week but then be SOL when it comes to going to the ROH show.

CZW on the other hand has a more significant problem. Their fanbase is a lot like that of XPW. It's a certain kind of an (neither goor nor bad before anyone jumps on defense) that enjoys the "hardcore" and/or "garbage" style (whether predominant in the show or otherwise). XPW represents a possibility of losing the fanbase to a similar product that many may consider to be better.

So you see, everyone has their own motives. At present, it's a situation where XPW is just the greater evil (in the eyes of the competing companies) for the time being.

It would be fucking incredible if they had some interpromotional matches. I'd like to see how Acid, Kashmere and M-Dogg 20 stand up against some of the the ROH stars. Messiah, Mondo, Adam Flash or Pain vs. Carnage Crew, Hit Squad, or Natural Born Sinners would be pretty sweet to see also.

Damn: I've got to get tapes of this show and 9/21.

I wouldn't mind if the 2 companies worked together as long as they destroy XPW. EMAXSAUN, looks like your alone on this one.

it took two companies together to try to outdraw xpw and then xpw draws around 700 while roh draws around like 200 or 250, haha, john zandig can suck a fat nut for all i care, he is so stupid and thinks that his fed is the best fed ever, he is just using roh to tap their talent to make czw look better at future shows, roh needs to break this alliance now if they know whats good for them, and xpw now has other promotions siding with them to take on this new alliance.

from pwbts.com:

"Jersey All Pro Promoter "Fat Frank" Iavadela and Jersey Championship Wrestling Promoter Ricky O were at XPW Saturday Night. Although they played no direct role in the show, they did have XPW Staff passes. It's apparent that JAPW and JCW have sided with XPW."

i am glad that czw is trying to put xpw out of town by doing shows or promotions during xpws shows, because now all of the retard czw fans will go to czw/roh shows instead of being at xpws shows and trying to start shit. zandig is a moron, and if he just let xpw run unapposed stupid czw fans would probably star shit and run xpw out of philly, but now czw is trying so hard to oppose xpw, that xpw is getting its own hardcore fanbase in philly and czw and zandig are left scratching their stupid heads

And we all know how great a promoter Fat Frank is.

ROH is less then a year old. You can't expect four-digit numbers to a promotion that isn't even out of diapers yet. As much as I don't like RF, he does have a good thing going for him.

As for all of the "retard czw fans," they've got money. If they are spending their money on ROH, it means that is money that will not be going to XPW. You may say "so what?" That comes back to haunt you later. If I'm a promoter, I'll take every penny I can, no matter where it comes from.

And if Zandig doesn't think that his promotion is the best, then he's an idiot. I guaranfuckingtee you that Black thinks that XPW is the best, that RF thinks that ROH is the best, and that Vince thinks that WWE is the best. If you don't think that your shit is the best out there, you're in the wrong position.

rob black didnt know what the fuck he was doing, thats why shane controls all of xpws creative aspects now, shane first started giving idea back at liberty or death, and from them on xpws shows has improved a lot, zandig is probably going to use roh's talent and bring them to czw in the future, he is going to try anything to keep xpw out, but in all of his trying he keeps coming out on bottom

Shane Douglas in control...yeah, we all know how wonderful a businessman and career manager HE is...

Regarding JAPW/JCW, who gives a shit really? Most of JAPW's talent works for ROH anyway, and nobody in JCW is really worth a damn.

I think the reason most people hate XPW is because some of us just hate Rob Black. Some puro people hate Vince so in turn some hate WWE. Personally I don't like XPW cause it's not wrestling, sure I like garbage wrestling as much as the next guy but some of their shit just sucks. I also think Rob Black just can't grasp what wrestling is, I think he just saw ECW one day and said "I could be more extreme" and it when on from there. Another thing I don't like about him is the fact that he thinks everything he does is so fucking special that everyone should just crap their pants watching it, hell at least Vince realizes that some of the stuff he does sucks.

And, trust me SHHHane Douglas can't run a wrestling company. Not that Zandig's much better but I'll give him credit where credit is do he has some damn good talented wrestlers.

Notice I said SOME people and SOME puro marks not all are like that.

well i wouldnt say xpw has homegrown guys, cuz supreme and kaos had been in the indies for a couple of years before they started with x.

I saw kaos back in 98 as a skinny kid with bad tights in a local cal indy fed. supreme was his partner then. they also had webb there too.

MMW are two vets from lucha libre, damain (also from wcw ) and halloween

so I guess the only homegrown guys they have are probably pogo, since I dont recall hearing about him till 2000

my point is they took some indy guys stuck them in their with ecw rejects and tried to craete a wrestling show

that being said i kinda enjoy xpw in a car-crash sort of way. actually I dont care much for the matches but the dumbs skits and promos and characters on xpw tv over the alst two years were funny as hell.

no those guys are homegrown xpw talent because xpw made them. justice pain wrestled in ohio or iowa or something in some crazy hardcore fed and was their champ, b4 he went to czw, but in czw he became a big timer so to speak for them and thats why hes is home grown czw talent
