Take your time, cuz I know you rush a lot of yours. Also, when you're making your cuts, use that magic lasso and not just the eraser. You'll get better results (if you do use the lasso, then I give you full permission to kick me in the back of the neck). And switch up your backgrounds...as I told you before, a lot of them look the same.

 

And use that pic of Tyra in the purple bikini more often...DAMN~! :licks lips:

If I'm making really exact cuts (like I'm trying to isolate them from a really complicated background), I like to use the Quick Mask, so that if I screw up by accidentally erasing part of my subject, I can fix it quickly.

Change up your fonts a little bit--just experiment and throw things around. Like try using different font sizes within a line, have the text go at weird angles. Just do different shit.

 

As I said to DJ Jeff, visit different artists' websites or message boards. I'm not saying you should copy their designs, but maybe they'll inspire you to come up with something different and interesting.
