Guest HartFan86 Posted October 4, 2002 Report Posted October 4, 2002 Sorry if this was posted already and thanks to LaxLeftWinger for showing me this.: On Oct. 14, 2002, my current contract with World Wrestling Entertainment will end. I have reached a crucial crossroads in my life where some important decisions must be made. It is with mixed emotions that I regret to inform you that I am moving on. To say that the past 12 years were nothing short of fantastic would be an understatement. I have fulfilled virtually every dream that I ever envisioned and more. I have had the honor of working with the most talented people in our industry. I would like to offer a very special word of thanks to you the fans, because with out you there would have never been a Paul Bearer. I also cannot walk away without mentioning some other people who have been very special to me. I would like to thank the McMahon family, the Undertaker, Kane, Mick Foley and Vader; these are truly the people that allowed me to be all that I could be. Notwithstanding the folks here at WWE.com, who were always there for me and gave me the honor of writing my column every week since the very beginning. All I can leave you with now are memories. Memories become a part of your thinking process. That isn't a bad gift. Is it? Don't cry because it is over. Smile because it happened. God Bless! Percy Pringle III Formally the WWE character known as Paul Bearer Well, thankfully his wife survived so they can have a happy life together. He definately will be remembered as one of the best managers of his time.
LaParkaYourCar Posted October 4, 2002 Report Posted October 4, 2002 Why did he sign as Percy Pringle? Isn't his real name William Moody?
Guest TheArchiteck Posted October 4, 2002 Report Posted October 4, 2002 Hmm, happy for him. Although I already figured he was gone. Undertaker should let him escort him 2 the ring one last time.
Guest HartFan86 Posted October 4, 2002 Report Posted October 4, 2002 Undertaker should let him escort him 2 the ring one last time. Or Kane. That would be pretty cool. Maybe at No Mercy.
Guest kane3212321 Posted October 4, 2002 Report Posted October 4, 2002 Yeah I personally hope he manages Taker his retirement match and also Taker busts out the Dead Man persona just ot make things complete.
Guest Youth N Asia Posted October 4, 2002 Report Posted October 4, 2002 Damn...my dreams are shattered... When Taker came back with the bike I was hoping Paul would ride in a sidecart, with shades and a leather jacket and Taker would call him "pops"...ah well, it wasn't meant to be. I didn't mind Paul that much, he was actually kind of entertaining
Guest FeArHaVoC Posted October 4, 2002 Report Posted October 4, 2002 Besides writing for WWE.com, what has Paul's job been the last few years? They should do a "Confidential" on Paul's Career.
Guest HartFan86 Posted October 4, 2002 Report Posted October 4, 2002 They should do a "Confidential" on Paul's Career. Best idea yet. They should definately have a show dedicated to him.
