Guest mesepher Report post Posted October 4, 2002 well, people don't know what you are up to when you are idle for so long. Plus, you can avoid unwanted IMs that way
Guest Leena Report post Posted October 4, 2002 I find it more fun to block people.
Guest areacode212 Report post Posted October 5, 2002 I hate the fact that ICQ has largely fallen out of favor with the IM'ing masses, since it contained all the cool features one would want in a chat program. AOL has owned the fucking program for YEARS--couldn't they at least implement some of ICQ's features (Invisible mode, etc...) into AIM? I like to control who sees me when I'm online without having to resort to blocking anyone.

Guest Leena Report post Posted October 6, 2002 As do I. Trillian makes life much easier, and it automatically saves conversations.

Guest Leena Report post Posted October 7, 2002 We have a lot in common. You write Heat reviews for SmarkTalk. I write WCW Thunder reviews for SmarkTalk. We're at the bottom.

Guest El Psycho Diablo Report post Posted October 7, 2002 I loved ICQ. *sigh* I remember having upwards of 80 people on my list, and talking to most of them. However, losing your list repeatedly sucks, and so do the ads.
