JasonX 0 Report post Posted October 4, 2002 Anyone think that the WWF will do the right thing and have RVD not only beat Kane for the IC Title before the October PPV but also go on to No Mercy and beat HHH to unify the belts under the IC title? They have to know that Raw is dying a horrible, horrible death with HHH on top and that RVD is ready to be made a top card player. Just bite the fucking bullet and have RVD become the #1 man on Raw with the title to prove it.....
Guest bps "The Truth" 21 Report post Posted October 4, 2002 Just based on the title of the thread I'd say no. They don't know how to do the right thing, or even what that is. The only people that care about the fact that RVD unified every title into the IC title, and should be the one to unify that belt into the other title are fans. And WWE doesn't care about them. Kane being the last IC champion is a joke on levels I didn't knwo existed.
Guest BoboBrazil Report post Posted October 4, 2002 I don't see HHH jobbing the title to anyone other than Undertaker or possibly Rock.
Guest Pop4Bagwell Report post Posted October 4, 2002 I think this *could* be possible. I mean why the fuck would they create a new RVD widescreen promo that they showed on Raw if they wanted to depush him? Oh wait, this IS the WWE we're talking about... Guest bps "The Truth" 21 Report post Posted October 4, 2002 They used to run house shows with main events of RVD vs. Tazz or Raven or someone when he was super over during the Alliance era. and they drew. The WWE will do as much as possible to make money off of RVD without commiting to him. That's just how they are.
Guest DJ Jeff Report post Posted October 4, 2002 I think the WWE is building up to a HHH© vs. RVD rematch at the Survivor Series for the World Title. That means that HHH will win at No Mercy, and drop the World Title to RVD at the Survivor Series.
Guest BoboBrazil Report post Posted October 4, 2002 RVD isn't getting a rematch any time soon, and if by some slim chance he does, he won't win the title. HHH will most likely face Booker T at Survivor Series so he can bury him too. It wouldn't take very much. Booker T already jobs nearly every match.
Guest I Fear Hogans Air Guitair Report post Posted October 4, 2002 A new RVD widescreen promo that they showed on Raw. There was an RVD widescreen promo on RAW Noooooooo i missed it. Does anyone know where i can download it?
Guest cabbageboy Report post Posted October 4, 2002 I can't really see Booker getting a title shot soon. He is going to be mired in a multi PPV feud with Jericho I think. Good idea for a feud, I swear Jericho outta hit real low and show those mugshot pics of Booker on the titantron. After he robbed the Wendys. Look RVD has to get a rematch at some point because there are simply no other contenders. Ok, HHH beats Kane. Then Booker. And??? Then you're back to RVD again. I stated in another thread they wanted Bubba and HHH at this PPV but people reacted so violently against it that plan was scrapped in favor of letting HHH get his job back from Kane. The one thing that disturbs me is a truism of WWE: Kane and UT shall not job on the same PPV. When has this happened? Both SHOULD job this time, but who knows. That means that HHH will win at No Mercy, and drop the World Title to RVD at the Survivor Series. This is what I was thinking as well. I'd much rather RVD get the shot at a bigger ppv such as SSeries than at a throw away ppv like No Mercy.
Guest Repo Man jr Report post Posted October 4, 2002 It's a shame they didn't do a Jericho/Booker IC title feud instead of killing the belt. Maybe over 2 PPV's with Booker getting it the second time. That would make a good 2 month feud! Remember the good old days when Austin and Rock and HHH feud over the IC title just before they became main even. And the title actually meant something... Still atleast Hunter gets another title and an exciting win over Kane... DOH!
Guest Trivia247 Report post Posted October 4, 2002 Geez Now theres Indirect Taker hating in the Form of KANE! Few months ago I heard nothing but Praise about Kane. That Kane was Best of the Big men and yadda yadda, but Oh If Kane goes for a belt...Then WELL he's not good Enough. Oh I Know your all sad that HHH felt that RVD was a threat to his Manhood so he shuffled RVD too take on Flair. But don't blame Kane. all he does is Bust his ass to wrestle. And Im Sorry he isn't Hitting any Tiger Drivers or Emerald Fusions, Nor is he Cutting promos that make you Personally Mark. Because LORD Knows the only reason the WWE isn't doing to well is because they aren't CATERING to your every Whim, and only Give Title Shots to your favorites. Eddy, Benoit, Jericho, Storm, RVD. And Fire Everyone else. They should Rehire Bastion Booger and push him for the World title.... Or maybe Virgil again.. Or MANTAUR.. because then you'll be BEGGING For Kane or Undertaker to go for a title shot.
Guest Mystery Eskimo Report post Posted October 4, 2002 But don't blame Kane. all he does is Bust his ass to wrestle. Really? As in no-selling Jericho's offence in an insultingly lazy way? As in having about three moves? Kane's marginally better than Taker in the ring but he's not even over.
Guest Anglesault Report post Posted October 4, 2002 You don't really think they would end this redhot RVD/Flair feud, do you?
Guest cabbageboy Report post Posted October 4, 2002 Heh, if that NM match ends with anything other than RVD with a 5 star, I will be PISSED. If you can job out Flair to Rico, you can job him out to RVD. Especially since he's mostly managing now.
Guest CanadianChick Report post Posted October 4, 2002 You don't really think they would end this redhot RVD/Flair feud, do you? Why its so red hot that they didn't even have to mention it on Raw! And I do not think that WWE will put RVD over Kane and HHH to win the Raw title. And I don't mind Kane too much. He's not my fav but his interviews can sometimes be funny and his wrestlign skills aren't too bad. Him and Test are my fav big guys, so I don't mind him. Guest bcu1979 Report post Posted October 5, 2002 I think the WWE is building up to a HHH© vs. RVD rematch at the Survivor Series for the World Title. That means that HHH will win at No Mercy, and drop the World Title to RVD at the Survivor Series. I think the Triple H/RVD feud is over. Triple H said he was better than RVD, pinned him at the PPV, and then moved on. And the reports from the Observer that Triple H was burying RVD in production meetings doesn't give me any hope that Triple H will be jobbing the title to RVD anytime soon. If RVD is confused as to what just happened to his push, I'm sure Chris Jericho would be happy to explain it to him. I think Kane actually has a good shot of winning the match at No Mercy. Either that or Triple H gets DQ'd. Triple H knows he's going to have to do a job to someone soon. And he's certainly not going to drop the title to any of the wrestlers on RAW that are potential threats to his spot (RVD, Booker, Jericho). So Kane, who has always failed in the top spot, is only slightly more over than Bubba Dudley, and most importantly - is a BIG HOSS, is the perfect candidate to get the win after Flair screws up interference. That way Triple H can get his job out of the way to show he's a team player. He can then have a rematch at Survivor Series with Kane to win the title back. Meanwhile, RVD will be stuck in a neverending feud with Flair and Batista while Booker and Jericho fight each week over nothing for the next two months. Guest evenflowDDT Report post Posted October 5, 2002 You don't really think they would end this redhot RVD/Flair feud, do you? Why its so red hot that they didn't even have to mention it on Raw! Well, they don't want to overshadow everything else, ya know. Actually bcu brings up a "good idea"... in a DQ finish, both men would retain their belts, right? So there wouldn't be any useless unification, and if they have a "continued brawling" spat like 'Taker/Brock at Unforgiven (although it wouldn't make a damn bit of sense because it has no backing) it could make it look legitimate enough to continue a feud, or at least insure people believe the IC belt stays un-unified
Guest FeArHaVoC Report post Posted October 5, 2002 I'd Rather not see RVd get the belt. If it meant getting it off of Triple H, then fine. I'd much rather see Jericho or Booker T get built up and take it. You can't spell "Overrated" without RVD, right?
Guest bps "The Truth" 21 Report post Posted October 5, 2002 Right....because God knows that with Taker and Kane getting the shots, the WWE elavates based on talent. He's over, been that way for over a year. They use him to promote RAW, and yet...he's too overrated to hold the belt. Shut up.
Guest Pop Culture God Report post Posted October 5, 2002 I STILL can't comprehend that the WWE is throwing away RVD's super-over and super-cool "unifyer" gimmick because HHH doesn't think he deserves a bigger push. HHH, from the bottom of my heart... eat shit and die.
