Worst Wrestling Match of the Year

Well, WWE has given us no shortage of pathetic matches. Japan has had some major brainfarts in booking. The indys (read NWA:TNT) are always guaranteed to produce some shit. So people, what is your WORST match of the year?

Ill go with Nash vs Rock from smackdown, the night Xpac joined the nWo man was that match bad. close ones are Hall/Bradshaw from Backlash, Brock/Taker from Unforgiven ( had the displeasure of being there live)

 

for the indies I'll go with Kronik vs Native Blood from the WWA Revolution ( which again I had the displeasure of being there live)

On Raw a while back I think they had Linda from TE2 and Bradshaw going up against Jackie from TE2 and Chris Nowinski . . . now that was a shitty match. I've truthfully never seen so many missed spots in my life . . .

 

That match alone shows they should either let the “Divas” stick to stripping and acting slutty or actually get some women that can wrestle on the roster. I swear to god if I see Trish Stratus and Molly “wrestle” one more time I’m going to scream.

Nash/Rock from SmackDown wasn't THAT bad. Maybe because I was there live and about 10 feet from the action, but I found it quite entertaining (considering Nash was in there), plus, it had the Rock getting powerbombed through the announcer's table, which always brings the entertainment.

 

As for my worst match, DEFINITELY the Trish/Bradshaw vs. Jackie/Harvard match. Just absolutely HORRIBLE, with all the blown spots and all.

I also have to go with Bradshaw / Trish vs. Nowinski / Jackie. It was painful to watch. If there was a truely horrible bout before this, this match put it to shame.

Yea it was Trish not Linda . . . usually I'm pretty up beat about Raw and Smackdown! but that match had my finger hovering above the power button on my remote.

Hogan/Taker from Judgment Day was the worst match I've seen this year.

HHH vs. Jeff Hardy: Jeff looked like someone broke something over his head after staying awake for 8 weeks just before going out in that match.

 

Trish/Bradshaw vs. Jackie/Nowinsky: Jeesy CREESY that was bad

Trish/Bradshaw vs. Jackie/Nowinski. Victoria could have gotten a lot of heat just by invoking this disaster on Trish's head.

 

And Ping, don't talk smack about Molly.

Austin Vs Taker from Backlash was torture to watch. It's one thing to watch Jackie Gayda/Chris Nowinski Vs Trish Stratus/ Bradshaw, where it is bad because they blow nearly every spot, it's another to watch taker and Austin walk around slowly and punch each other for 20 minutes. Cheex Vs Jobber from the 2nd TNA show was really bad. Mr Perfect Vs Taz from Raw in February was really bad as well. Mr Perfect Vs Steve Austin from February was a really bad main event even for Raw. Mike Awesome Vs anyone in the weeks he was on Velocity should get some consideration too.

Triple H vs The Undertaker from King of the Ring. 25 minutes of utter boring hell. And to think it was the main event of one of the 'Big 5' Pay Per Views.

Good lord... I've been trying to forget all about that match.

 

If there was a Worst Segment of the Year award, I think Muppet the Hardcore Midget jerking off in a trash can would win out...

RAW is GAYDA was probably the worst, but I hated HHH/Hogan, Hogan/Undertaker, and HHH/Undertaker more.

i agree with jhawk because that match represents everything that is wrong with the current wwe product. two guys who can't go, have shitty matches, and hog valuable airtime insulting my intelligence by being the main event of probably the worst ppv of the year. probably the first negative star wwe main event in ages!

I was more offended by Austin Vs Taker because I thought there was a chance it could've been a decent match, but it turned out absolutely dreadful. I knew HHH Vs Taker was probably going to suck. Side by side, I think Austin Vs Taker was worse, which is sad considering that Austin is (or was) a good worker.
