Guest Sandman9000 Report post Posted October 5, 2002 Three straight games, starting pitching gets rocked, bullpen gets rocked. Go out, take a lead, turn around, and give the fucking game away. Even worse tonight, Yanks go up 6-1 after three. I turn the game off before the bottom of the eighth is over, and the Angels are up 9-6. I seriously want to go out, find the first person I can, and beat the shit out of them.
Guest Leena Report post Posted October 5, 2002 The Yanks will still win in 5, just to piss off the 99% of us that despise them.
Guest Sandman9000 Report post Posted October 5, 2002 The way their staff has been going, I have a better chance of going out there and throwing then they do. Wells will get rocked for six in four, pen will give up three to four more runs, halos in four, Sandman goes on murdering spree.
Guest Your Olympic Hero Report post Posted October 5, 2002 The Yanks will still win in 5, just to piss off the 99% of us that despise them. And to make the one percent that I'm a member of laugh at the other
Guest Sandman9000 Report post Posted October 5, 2002 I wish I could be as positive as the man above me, but after watching the three games in this series, I can't be. Yanks won game 1, simply because Percival wasn't brought in. 2 and 3, Angels outpitch the Yanks. NO ONE on the Yankees can get an out if their life depended on it. Unless some kind of miracle (a la last year) happens, I'm not looking forward to tomorrow night.

Guest MaxPower27 Report post Posted October 5, 2002 Wow. I think that Joe Morgan said it best, "These are the things that the Yankees do to other teams" Personally, I love it, I'm looking forward to tomorrow night. My picks have done very well in my work pool. I said the D'Backs weren't gonna do that great, I said the A's were going to the LCS and so were the Angels. Go Angels!!!! I do believe that the Yanks aren't making it out of this round.
Guest MarvinisaLunatic Report post Posted October 5, 2002 I personally dont wanna see an all California ALCS, but I also dont wanna see the Yankees win. GO TWINS, even though I bet they are done for as well. A Cardinals Braves series would be pretty good too, although I dunno about the Cards without Rolen.. Guest treble charged Report post Posted October 5, 2002 Until the Angel's get that last out to win their 3rd game, I'll still believe that the Yankees will come back. I HATE thinking like that, but I just can't help it. They've done it to me SO many times before. I thought they were done, and they've come back. I hate them. Guest MaxPower27 Report post Posted October 5, 2002 I know TC, I hate them too, but sometimes, I have an uncanny ability to tell such things. Anaheim is going to win if they keep playing the way they are. Where'd Sandman go? Am I going to see that some guy just went crazy and killed people, all the while screaming "Fuck the Halos!!!!" on the news tomorrow?
Guest MarvinisaLunatic Report post Posted October 5, 2002 Oakland will beat the Angels if its Oakland vs Angels in the ALCS. The A's and Braves would be a good Series..

Guest MarvinisaLunatic Report post Posted October 5, 2002 I think the Yankees are finished down 9-2 in the 5th.. (8 runs and 10 hits in the 5th by the Angels) And the Braves look like they are gonna win up 6-2 (another Bonds solo HR just a minute ago..).. Could it possibly be the Angels and Twins in the ALCS??? Guest jimmy no nose Report post Posted October 5, 2002 8 runs in the 5th. How does this happen? I guess the Yankees are out. 8 earned runs for Wells, I guess there are no Yankees who can pitch.

Guest jimmy no nose Report post Posted October 5, 2002 The Angels were the only AL playoff team I didn't think could take the Yankees. I guess it's just because I hadn't seen much of them this year. They really played well this series.
Guest Anglesault Report post Posted October 6, 2002 The Angels were the only AL playoff team I didn't think could take the Yankees. I guess it's just because I hadn't seen much of them this year. They really played well this series. No, the Yankees just played REALLY badly.
Guest Smues Report post Posted October 6, 2002 No. The Yankees did play bad, but give Anahiem credit. They played very well in the series. You can't just blame it all on the yanks playing bad, the angels deserve a lot of credit for winning the series. Go rally monkey!
