Hennig...

Recommended Posts

Guest JMTapes

Anyone know when/if Hennig is coming back? I'm pretty sure I heard that he was only suspended for the flight from hell. Man, it pissed me off seeing him get jobbed out every time earlier this year, and I'd love to see him back in any way. Anyone? Anyone? Beuller?

I think he got fired.

I was a huge Hennig mark but he was just awful in the ring and he seemed like a locker room cancer

Oh Please, He Perfect plexed the BIG SHOW! Hennig still looked good in the ring after being around for two decades, he's the only one of the age that doesn't look like Leatherface Alla Hogan & Flair

course he did. The Famed Flight from Hell. And Xpac Shaved the Mullet! so he started a brawl with Brock... I guess because he messed with the Sacred Cashed Cow he simply MUST be fired.

Hennig says he still has a contract, but I would doubt very much that he is coming back anytime soon.

Other then the tremendous job he did in his return at the Royal Rumble, he was pretty much awful. Especially the stinker he put on with Steve Austin on RAW.

Big Hennig mark here.. who would prefer that he stays away. He was just embarrassing himself.

WTF happened after the Rumble?

He was jobbed out after the rumble. Rumor has it, HHH wanted revenge for being left high and dry by Hennig in 96

Yes, it WAS nice of them to have Kane squash him in his first singles match, if I remember correctly. Kane desperately needed that win.

And now it all makes sense...

Perfect was awesome at the Royal Rumble and the people I was watching the show with thought he might somehow upset Triple H and Angle and win the Rumble. When he hit the Perfectplex the place went nuts. Perfect can definitely work when motivated. But now that I see what was going on, I can understand why he dogged it at the end of his run. We all know Perfect could outwrestle Hunter anyway.

I think you could put as much, if not more, of the blame on Austin for that as Hennig.

austin was a shell of 2001 austin by then, and gave not a fuck, yes. I second trivia's motion that in addition to owning the rumble he PERFECTPLEXED THE BIG SHOW and I believe none of you have yet to do so. He must have been released though. I remember him saying he hadn't been when he was kicked, but it was on wwe.com wasn't it?

Didn't Hennig have a pretty good match with RVD?

I remember it (sadly) being on Heat.

Hennig is gone. He was released about a week after the Flight From Hell, even wwe.com posted an article about it. Too bad about how he turned out after the Rumble, because he had me marking like a little bitch watching it.

He did that in WCW too. It was cooler then, since he wasn't a jobber in WCW (and neither was Big Show).

In WWE he had a few good nights and a lot of bad nights. I guess sobriety could've been a factor here :(
