Guest Phoenix Fury Legdrop Posted October 6, 2002 Report Posted October 6, 2002 Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't Messiah's hand signal that pinky thing that Cena's been doing lately? I heard Trent Acid did it on TNA, and Cena and Messiah came from the same area from the country, so I wouldn't be surprised if Cena's giving props to The Messiah.
LaParkaYourCar Posted October 6, 2002 Author Report Posted October 6, 2002 This "Abandon" movie is too predictable. I can tell you what happens rignt now. She thinks her boyfriend is dead cause she's the one who tried to kill him. Sorry I got off topic. I've never seen Messiah wrestle so I don't know.
LaParkaYourCar Posted October 6, 2002 Author Report Posted October 6, 2002 How old is Doug Basham? He looks kinda old. Holy crap. Doug Basham should have been brought up instead of Cena. This guy is good. RING POST BOW AND ARROW!!!
LaParkaYourCar Posted October 6, 2002 Author Report Posted October 6, 2002 What the hell.........where have they been hiding this Basham guy!! He's better than any of the other OVW debuts.
Guest BoboBrazil Posted October 6, 2002 Report Posted October 6, 2002 Michael called Basham a young up and comer! The guy looks like he is 40 and he is going bald in the back. He looked better in the ring this week than last though. He just needs to work the crowd more.
Guest Dmann2000 Posted October 6, 2002 Report Posted October 6, 2002 I agree, though with the stuff Bashim was doing it made Kidman look like Superman, cause after that Alabama Jam I though Kidman should've been gone
LaParkaYourCar Posted October 6, 2002 Author Report Posted October 6, 2002 Basham might just have an older look. He pieces a match together pretty well and has some nice moves. You're right he should play the crowd a little more though. He's a heel though. That's a welcome difference from Cena and Orton.
Guest Mulatto Heat Posted October 6, 2002 Report Posted October 6, 2002 Basham doesn't have "The Look", which frankly to me is becoming just as bland as the superkick or spinebuster. Randy Orton.... John Cena... that Rene Dupre guy we saw on Confidential a couple weeks ago, they all look the same.
LaParkaYourCar Posted October 6, 2002 Author Report Posted October 6, 2002 That's what I kinda like about Basham now. He's not a pretty boy. They should play off that. If he'd cut his hair short it would look better cause his hair is thin.
Guest Mulatto Heat Posted October 6, 2002 Report Posted October 6, 2002 What a coincidence, I just read this from lordsofpain.net: OVW struggling for stars OVW officials are said to not feel they have any other potential superstars currently on the roster. The only two guys they feel could make an impact are Doug Basham and Rene Dupre. Basham though is considered too small and not having a good enough look to make it big time. Dupre is only 18 so is a long-term project that needs a lot of work on the mic, but has awesome facial features. I don't get this creaming over boy-band looks the higher-ups are having, which leads to things like Orton and Cena over-pushes. I mean, no one ever said that Austin or Hogan were "pretty".
Guest Dmann2000 Posted October 6, 2002 Report Posted October 6, 2002 PUT THE TITLE ON BASHIM! This has been yet another whiplash reaction to a first time view of a decent looking new wrestler
Guest Nevermortal Posted October 6, 2002 Report Posted October 6, 2002 F-5 onto a dangerous pile of razor sharp popped corn!
Guest Nevermortal Posted October 6, 2002 Report Posted October 6, 2002 I just realized, Basham kinda looks like Necrobutcher from IWA Mid-South...
LaParkaYourCar Posted October 6, 2002 Author Report Posted October 6, 2002 I don't think they should put the title on him, but in this one match he's looked a lot better than I've seen Cena or Orton look. To me atleast. I just hope he has a bright future. I know that circling graphic in the No Mercy commercial is supposed to be barbed wire, but it looks like little HHH symbols attatched to a line circling around.
Guest Dmann2000 Posted October 6, 2002 Report Posted October 6, 2002 That's almost as hellacious as the the chokeslam HHH took at WM X-7 from a stage onto cold unforgiving....cushioned matresses
Guest Dmann2000 Posted October 6, 2002 Report Posted October 6, 2002 I don't think they should put the title on him Oh now I was just joking about the knee-jerk reactions some people have on this board, both negative and positive, to guys they've only seen like once or twice
LaParkaYourCar Posted October 6, 2002 Author Report Posted October 6, 2002 Yeah I hope to see some more matches of him to get a better idea. Dang I hate it when they give matches like this only 3 or so minutes. Oh good Shannon Moore ditched the gay theme song.
LaParkaYourCar Posted October 6, 2002 Author Report Posted October 6, 2002 man this crowd is dead. Confidential!!
Guest Trivia247 Posted October 6, 2002 Report Posted October 6, 2002 Finley is the Diva's Trainer???? Guess impaling his leg through a table has its perks.
LaParkaYourCar Posted October 6, 2002 Author Report Posted October 6, 2002 Fit gets to roll around on the mat with the women........I want his job!!
Guest Nevermortal Posted October 6, 2002 Report Posted October 6, 2002 Blah...I don't give a fuck about this football player....
LaParkaYourCar Posted October 6, 2002 Author Report Posted October 6, 2002 yeah let's get this story over with. They've already done it. "Best Friends"? they just met. The Ebony Experience? Interesting team name.
LaParkaYourCar Posted October 6, 2002 Author Report Posted October 6, 2002 wow this thread isn't very lively tonight. I find it hard to believe Booker hasn't had a Philly Cheesesteak before.
Guest BoboBrazil Posted October 6, 2002 Report Posted October 6, 2002 Well, he probably doesn't usually eat stuff like that, because he has to stay healthy and in shape.
Guest MarvinisaLunatic Posted October 6, 2002 Report Posted October 6, 2002 Its not like WCW or WWE havent been to Philly a million times before either, so its odd.
Guest MarvinisaLunatic Posted October 6, 2002 Report Posted October 6, 2002 The power of meditation! Could it be more powerful than the power of the punch???
LaParkaYourCar Posted October 6, 2002 Author Report Posted October 6, 2002 RVD and Rey have the "Power of Meditation"!!! I need to get some WWE Action Figures. They rule.
Guest MarvinisaLunatic Posted October 6, 2002 Report Posted October 6, 2002 I wish I had bought RVD's ECW figure at TRU when they were on sale for 2 bucks in the bargain bin shortly after ECW folded but before ECW showed up again last year..
Guest Trivia247 Posted October 6, 2002 Report Posted October 6, 2002 that one guy looks like Jericho on Tekken 4 lol
