Guest Madmartigan21 Report post Posted October 6, 2002 A few weeks ago, Scott Keith gave the address of a website where you can put in the UPC of all your DVD's and it will create a personal database. I went to that site, but I forgot to bookmark it. Does anybody have the URL?
Guest Karnage Report post Posted October 6, 2002 Your talking about DVD Profiler right? It's a good program...but I prefer using DVD Aficionado.

Guest starvenger Report post Posted October 6, 2002 DVD Profiler kept crashing my computer, so I got rid of it. I have no idea why, so I'll stick with DVD Affecionado. Maybe you'll have better success with it...

Guest Crucifixio Jones Report post Posted October 7, 2002 I haven't had any probs with Profiler. I found a few weeks ago at another forum I frequent and I've been mightily impressed. Putting it up next to Aficionado is like comparing apples and oranges. Aficionado lets you find your movies and list them with tiny pictures on the left hands side. Profiler lets you store you collection on their website AND your hard drive, lets you sort you DVDs by umpteen categories and criteria, gives you UCP #, cast info, special features and every other feature on each DVD you add such as MSRP, etc. The way I see it, there's no comparison. Guest starvenger Report post Posted October 7, 2002 Well, that's why I wanted to try it - because of the ability to store data on my HD. Note that we haven't knocked what it's capable of - only it's performance.
