Yes, but enabling the option for people to change it themselves is a global setting. We couldn't enable it for you without enabling it for everyone else. There is a way to change your screen name without losing anything, and a couple of poster have discovered it already. Any mod or admin can change your name to whatever you want it to be, and you keep everything you had before in the process. Anyone who wants to change their username without losing all their settings, information, and precious post counts can do so by simply asking a moderator or admin.
