Guest HBK16 Posted October 7, 2002 Report Posted October 7, 2002 Simple question. I prefer Chinese food. teriyaki chicken and friend rice ar the best. There's nothing better than have Chinese food when you come home from school. Which is your favorite dish?
Guest Bosstones Fan Posted October 7, 2002 Report Posted October 7, 2002 Mexican for me, though I eat Chinese much more frequently. My girlfriend can't stand Mexican food (but LOVES Chinese), so I don't get to enjoy Mexican that often. EDIT: My favorite Mexican dish is a big plate of beef enchiladas. My favorite Chinese dish has to be either Kung Pow chicken or Hunan beef.
Guest Flyboy Posted October 7, 2002 Report Posted October 7, 2002 Nothing beats nachos. Therefore, Mexican food gets the nod.
Guest BifEverchad Posted October 7, 2002 Report Posted October 7, 2002 Hmmm.....tough choice. I love both. But if I had to pick my absolute favorite...I'd have to go with Mexican.
Guest BoboBrazil Posted October 7, 2002 Report Posted October 7, 2002 Mexican food is best. I love almost everything at Mexican restaurants. I don't really like any Chinese food except for chicken and fried rice and egg rolls.
Guest Youth N Asia Posted October 7, 2002 Report Posted October 7, 2002 I can answer this in two words: GENERAL TSO!!! Chineese all the way
Guest El Satanico Posted October 7, 2002 Report Posted October 7, 2002 Mexican here. I've always loved Mexican food and the only thing i eat at Chinese Buffets is chicken. I wish i had a Mexican buffet in my area.
Guest razazteca Posted October 7, 2002 Report Posted October 7, 2002 I live on the Mexican boarder so its hard not to enjoy the food. not a real fan of Chinese food the only thing good about Chinese restuarants is that is it buffet style usually. I am not really a big eater to endorse $8 for rice and noodles and chicken. beside if I have a strong desire for Asian food I shall get ask mommy for some filipino food......Pancit Bijon and Lumpia yummy.
Guest starvenger Posted October 8, 2002 Report Posted October 8, 2002 I'm Chinese, so the choice is rather obvious...
Guest Mark4steamboat Posted October 9, 2002 Report Posted October 9, 2002 Mexican vs Chinese is like a race to see which food goes through me quicker. I'll have to go with Mexican only because Chinese makes me puke but i still love Chinese. Chinese around here is really expenisve <when i get Wonton, and sweet and sour chicken its around $16> so i usualy just go for Mexican. Plus, i can easily make Mexican but for some reason, Chinese food tastes awful when i make it.
Guest The Electrifyer Posted October 9, 2002 Report Posted October 9, 2002 I like them both, but all in comes down to is that there are more different Chinese dishes than Mexican dishes that I like, so it Chinese for me.
Guest Insanityman Posted October 9, 2002 Report Posted October 9, 2002 Chinese will always be superior to Mexican for me.
Guest ScorpionDanceofDeath Posted October 9, 2002 Report Posted October 9, 2002 Chinese! I could live off Chinese if it weren't so expensive..
Guest Slingshot Suplex Posted October 9, 2002 Report Posted October 9, 2002 Mexican but never forget Wing Fong!
Guest midnight_burn Posted October 9, 2002 Report Posted October 9, 2002 Chinese food would have to be my prefered of the two, i have Chinese far more often than Mexican.
Guest Agent of Oblivion Posted October 9, 2002 Report Posted October 9, 2002 Mexican, all the way. Chinese isn't filling, costs too much, and makes me so thirsty I feel like I'm going to perish every time I eat it.
Guest danielisthor Posted October 11, 2002 Report Posted October 11, 2002 I like both, but living in rural New Jersey can't get descent of either. Closest is Chinese. Nothing like great egg drop soup, shrimp roll and an order of Happy Family
Guest areacode212 Posted October 11, 2002 Report Posted October 11, 2002 beside if I have a strong desire for Asian food I shall get ask mommy for some filipino food......Pancit Bijon and Lumpia yummy. If we're talking about Filipino food, it's all about dinuguan, mongo and chicken adobo. Maybe pinakbet with rice, if I'm in the mood for it.
Guest redbaron51 Posted October 11, 2002 Report Posted October 11, 2002 Wong Tong Soup is the best chinese meal, therefore chinese. though I love Quesadilla's
Guest TheHulkster Posted October 11, 2002 Report Posted October 11, 2002 Thats a really tough one. There is nothing better than a good fajita except for maybe some really good teriyaki chicken. I'll have to go with chinese. There is more variety.
Guest Youth N Asia Posted October 15, 2002 Report Posted October 15, 2002 Chinese isn't filling You must be unfamilar with WING FONG! Roadtrip to Michigan and take the General Tso Challenge, Yankee-boy!...sorry, that was my Wing Fong shill mode.
Guest Brian Posted October 17, 2002 Report Posted October 17, 2002 First off, Teriyaki is Japanese. GENERAL TSAO!!! Anyways, I love cooking Chinese far more than Mex-Tex and "haute" Mexican cuisine. Actually, traditional variations, I like Mexican cooking a lot better that traditional Chinese cooking. Except in Beijing and Hong Kong. Dim Sum was so good.
Guest Sassquatch Posted October 17, 2002 Report Posted October 17, 2002 Chinese. I was never a big fan of Mexican food when I was growing up and I thought a lot of the food tasted terrible. I've grown to like a lot more Mexican food as I have grown up.
Guest dreamer420 Posted October 18, 2002 Report Posted October 18, 2002 I love chinese because it is so filling and there is always a shitload of leftovers.
Guest Will Scarlet Posted October 18, 2002 Report Posted October 18, 2002 I eat Chinese at least once a week. Chinese, easily.
Guest Dr. Wrestlingphysics Posted October 18, 2002 Report Posted October 18, 2002 As I don't like peppers or chilis, and I'm a fan of Chinese currys, there's only one choice for me.
Guest Sturgis Posted October 21, 2002 Report Posted October 21, 2002 I vote for Chinese cause at least I have a good idea wha'ts in it and the delivery people are nice to you
Guest Renegade Posted October 21, 2002 Report Posted October 21, 2002 Chinese, better food, better beer. But its a tough call though
