Guest MDH257 Posted October 8, 2002 Report Posted October 8, 2002 ABC announced that Anderson Cooper will not be hosting the special celebrity version of The Mole airing in the spring or the third season airing next summer. They didn't want a CNN guy hosting the show and Anderson wouldn't qiut his other job.
Guest starvenger Posted October 8, 2002 Report Posted October 8, 2002 ABC announced that Anderson Cooper will not be hosting the special celebrity version of The Mole airing in the spring or the third season airing next summer. They didn't want a CNN guy hosting the show and Anderson wouldn't qiut his other job. Actually, if you the article at Reality News Online you can see that it's CNN that gave him the ultimatum. The report also says that Kathryn (the first Mole) is part of the production team, so she could possibly become the new host. But if they wanted to duplicate Cooper's mix of seriousness, sarcasm and goofiness... I don't know if that's possible. I'll throw out Brad Sherwood, since he's an ABC personality and could probably do a decent job hosting.
Guest ant_7000 Posted October 8, 2002 Report Posted October 8, 2002 The Mole needs a whole new of everything that was a stupid show.
Guest MarvinisaLunatic Posted October 8, 2002 Report Posted October 8, 2002 I tried to watch the 2nd one last year because there was nothing on tv on Friday nights, but they suspended it until the summer and I never saw the rest of the show. Needless to say I thought it was a cool show but that suspending it til the summer crap made me mad. I doubt I watch #3..
Guest The Electrifyer Posted October 8, 2002 Report Posted October 8, 2002 The Mole is awesome. That, Murder in Small Town X and The Amazing Race are the 3 greatest reality TV shows IMO. Losing Anderson Cooper would really suck, since his personality and look just fit the show. I'm betting ABC will find a completely new face hat we've never seen before to host the show.
