I have to say, I'm absolutly stunned. I LIKED Spin the Wheel! Holy shit!

 

the cage match was...well, a cage match. But Booker won and Jericho is a lunatic.

 

the blindfold match was...well, a blinfold match, but it was FUCKING D'LO. Plus, the spot where HHH tried to push an empty corner almost made the whole thing worth it. Plus, 3 minute HHH matches = good.

 

we got our stupid T and A match, but the hotness of the women was not obscured by a slippery substance of some sort. Plus, there seems to be some kind of....angle?! With women? Where am I?

 

when Victoria did that interview, I wondered aloud what was with the crappy days of our lives storyline. If I only knew...

 

Regal + Goldust + Women's clothing = gold

 

Lawler was in neither an Inferno match, nor a Let Raven Whip Your Pussy, Child Molesting Ass match, which was dissapointing. But if Godfather is going to be over anywhere, it's Las Vegas. Plus, Lawler wasn't around to fuck up the excellent main event.

 

Of course, Hurricane is taken out of the match, because they are bound and determined to prevent from getting over, no matter what.

 

Anyway, what can you say about TLC? It's fucking insanity. For one night anyway, Bubba and RVD had direction. Jericho got to fucking rock, Jeff and Spike served thier purpose in life, and Christian has a character again. As for Kane, well, he's the star now, he had to win.

 

But then...if I learned anything tonight, I learned this. Only HHH could ruin a TLC match.

 

And if I had to sum up my thoughts on a murder angle, I would say "Oh sweet Jesus, turn me over and put the gun up my ass before you bestow upon me the sweet release of death."

 

So maybe it's not that bad, but really. This reminds me of Rikishi, Driver in one way: can anyone one of you fathom any possible way that this could lead to anything good? I mean really? Will Paul Bearer prove Kane innocent? Will we get the Minority Report ending where HHH is revealed as the true killer? Will the girl's spirit help Kane win the world title like he's fucking 90's Undertaker? Or will it just be "Wow, it was a plan by Triple H. He's so Cerebral." Sometimes it really seems like they purposly tank things. Maybe Kane or maybe the whole freaking Raw. Can you honestly say that Benoit could walk out on Smackdown and say "I won't give you a rematch Angle, because you murdered in cold blood the kindest man I've ever known!"

 

ok so that's my hollering. I'm sure there's a thousand threads about this, so just relax and let this slowly sliiiiiide off the page and we're done with it.

Actually, to be serious, you did point out some of the legitimate good aspects of tonight's Raw, and there were more than I realized.

I wouldn't count a cage match with Big Show as a highlight by any stretch of the imagination.

 

Nor would I consider a blindfold match, especially a blindfold match with HHHe Who Shall Not Be Named, a highlight. That gimmick match could only be worsened by having it on a pole.

 

And that TLC match was ruined long before HHH poked his nose into it with hisj'accuse. mon frere Kane. Having the Big Red Freak defend his title without his partner, sit around for minutes while everyone else takes the big bumps, then santer up the ladder to win singlehandedly is a spit in the face to the other six guys who put in the effort.

 

When the only thing to look forward to on the RAW side is a women's title match, it is truly a sad state of affairs.

 

I just hope the next five hours of sleep will help me forget the two hours I just wasted. Thank god for a) Picture-In-Picture, and b) Monday Night Football. Go Packers!!!

I'm serious, I was diggin the show. I mean all the wrestling was awful, don't get me wrong. But Goldust was funny, Regal was funny, Bischoff was funny, Booker WON A MATCH~!, the girls were...well, hot anyway, I marked for Al, I marked for D'lo, HHH was limited (you can't stop him, you can only hope to contain him), and Lawler wasn't around to fuck up TLC.

 

Then I got to watch 20 minutes of my absolute favoritest thing in the whole wide world, people falling off ladders! w00t!

 

But then...

 

alas....

 

I should have know HHH wouldn't settle for a mere 10 minutes of screen time. I knew it would be bad when JR harped along about how "Kane's life would never be the same", (totally oblivious to the fact that Jeff was standing on a huge ladder saying the rosary), but I thought "Ooo, they unmask him, scary!", and tried to enjoy the flying human bodies.

 

I also should have know that HHH would not allow the main event to overshadow him. I have no excuse for that one, I should have seen it coming miles away.

 

 

EDIT: kkk, would you really rather watch Raw then have sex? I mean when was the last time Raw made you even feel a little better for watching it?

I liked RAW, for the Cage Match, and the TLC Match, even though Kane winning the match was a spit in the face of the other 6 superstars. Also, I'm hoping that the WWE doesn't fuck up this whole Kane angle either. It better pay off, otherwise, I might have to stop watch wrestling all together.

Another funny thing about Raw was when Triple H was trying to put over the danger in a blind-fold match. I thought he was just joking about it when he said, "You know how dangerous those things are?", but then he seemed actually scared.

I thought Raw was pretty good. Maybe not the best Wrestling I've ever seen, but the show itself was entertaining.

 

Somethings I could live with out, i.e. Murder Angle.

 

TLC matches, it's one of those matches where you have to just shut up, don't nit-pick everything, and just try to enjoy them.

This RAW was awesome. I was really looking forward to see what matches and what stips would happen. That blindfold match, awesome. They acted it out real well. Cage match.......meh, mediocre. Showgirls match, FUNNY. I smelled Goldust all over that match. Bra and panties, and paddle, I knew that was gonna happen, but we got to see some T & A. That interference by Victoria, awesome. That is a good feud. Las Vegas Street Fight, with AL SNOW!! Al Snow is a charismatic person, and I enjoy when he comes out.

 

TLC......another great TLC to add to the books. It was dumb for Kane to be in the match by himself. He didn't do anything major. Man, Bubba took a sick ass bump when Jericho did the bulldog off the ladder. No wonder he got a concussion.

 

The most weird storyline of the year is starting, and if the WWE does it right, it could get ratings. WHO THE HELL IS KATIE VICK???
