Wow, how bout that Rob Van Dam?

Recommended Posts

Guest Quik

Man, Rob bumps his ass off (alonmg with 5 other faily talented gentlemen) in order to put over the big man, Kane. It didn't even matter that Rob got a bigger pop, he knew what he had to do for the good of the company. Pretty soon, I'm sure Rob will poke his head out of the curtains during Kane's entrance to get the crowd to make noise...

Anyway, point is: does anyone find it funny that Rob did more to put over Kane than Triple H did to put over Rob? If this isn't proof that Trips is a cancer, then my name is Hosebeat Leroux

I think we should pay Chow Yun-Fat to get rid of HHH. He always killed the drug lords in the John Woo movies and such. How much more does HHH deserve to die then some innocent drug kingpin?

i think it's kind of biased to start a thread about how great a company man ROB VAN DAM is when JERICHO bumped his ass off in the same match AND has been doing every shit thing has asked him to do for the past 7 months.

At least Jericho has a feud though, RVD has nothing to do so far and has just been thrown into match to progress other angles.

has rvd been stephanie's little dogshit cleaner-upper? did rvd put over john freaking cena cleanly? jericho didn't have an angle for backlash, & that was the month after he had the damn world title.

Poor Booker.

Has anyone noticed that if Booker earns a title shot from beating Jericho, that'll mean three PPVs in a row where the guy who gets to fight HHH got that opportunity by defeating Jericho?

I don't think that Booker/Jericho is going to be a contender match because there is simply nothing either man has done of late to justify it. Jericho has been a job boy in 100 contender matches already, and Booker jobbed in his hometown. He did beat the Big Show...oooooh. It would be like that ECW PPV where Steve Corino faced CW Anderson in a #1 contender match and people thought "What the fuck have these guys done to be in this match?"

The bigger intrigue is if RVD/Flair at the PPV is #1 contender. If RVD wins, we have a rematch and an actual feud people might wanna see. If Flair wins, we have the tension with him and HHH. That's fairly interesting, but I dunno since they haven't even mentioned RVD and Flair in the same breath in 2 weeks.

this will not happen. at this point, it's doubtful that rvd will even feud with flair, let alone continue the feud with triple h. if this were the plan, they'd be continuing the story from day one through every raw. we had a pissed-off rob after unforgiven, but that's all we've seen. if it were building up to something, we would've seen more of it.

We are arguing over who has been held down more by HHH.

Does the WWE just not care how we feel about the product? Do they realize WE are the main audience? Does anyone know Chow Yun-Fat's number?

Let's forget HHH for a second, ok?......

The real crime here is that a boring, stale, big, slow, plodding guy is getting a push over a guy who is more over, and in reality, would make a great top babyface for the company.

I know it's en vogue to dog Triple H these days, but the real culprit is Vince McMahon himself. Screw what the fans want...Vince wants BIG.

Vince says, "Big = better."

McMahon is always about four-five years behind the times in terms of fan desire.

RVD and Jericho are both company men. What a Van Terminator and Jericho's bump to the outside was unreal.

Well we all agreed that those 6 great workers on that RAW main event gave their body and soul to entertain the fans and to elevate that Red Retard so he could job to HGH @ No Mercy. Fans are dying to see RVD kick HGH's ass and become RAW champion, there were a lot of RVD chants and signs in the crowd. But Vince thinks that he knows better than the fans because he loves big men to be on top, but i don't if he means on top of the main event level or on top of him.

Well, if Vince is Gun Ho about going back to the lame Soap Opera crap, then don't expect RVD to be getting any big Storylines or pushes. His lack of mic skills and acting will really kill him now. Alone with others.

Watch RVD and Jeff Hardy get into a Bloody feud because Jeff Hardy dares to Smoke up RVD's Last GANJA!

Lets be honest none of the wrestlers are good talkers, HHH bores me to death when he opens his mouth and he is supposed to be a top main eventer, Kane sounds like he is doing some speed and he is getting to main event No Mercy, Brock has Heyman to talk for him and he is WWE champ, so mic skills don't mean shit as long as Vince wants you to be on top.

Man there are so many other guys deserving our pitty more than RVD. He'll be just fine, what about the midcard heels on RAW. Where are t hey going? All the UnAmericans, (exclued Test who is scheduled for his every other month push as soon as he cuts his hair) are going to drift away and be reduced to doing "showgirl" matches and things of the like. Lance Storm will be misused and Christian will be fogoten. Thats the real shame.

Maybe if Christian didn't suck ass in the ring, he wouldn't be forgotten.

I can't weep too hard for the UnAmericans, none of them had any heat and didn't do much of note in the ring either.

I predict this whole soap opera bullshit lasts another couple of months, and then they realize that no one is buying it and change directions again.
